TL'DR Please do not waste your hard-earned money and time on this resort.
I had a recent experience staying at Siyam world. I had taken my Mom to the Maldives for the first time and wanted her to have a good time, but unfortunately, that was not the case.
Overall, the look and feel of the resort is charming and lively.
The restaurants and the quality of the food are excellent. I had a chance to try the food at some of the restaurants and was not disappointed at all.
The people at the scuba center are very accommodating and friendly. We had rented a boat with them, and they did everything possible to make our day.
The resort is poorly managed and understaffed.
The staff is dishonest and dismisses and ignores your request. I had put my complaints with the property manager Charlene, and she did the same. She did not take any action or do anything to make us comfortable. She just walked away.
I had booked a water villa for four days and three nights for four people with seaplane transfers. Our flight got delayed and due to which they had to change the reservation to do domestic transfers for us.
1) When we arrived at 10:00 pm at the resort we were exhausted because the transfers took so long. Instead of accommodating us, we were rushed through the dinner because the restaurant was closing, and we thought it was fine as every restaurant had some rules. They were also running out of food, and when asked, they said they were not expecting so many people.
