Dont be fooled by outside appearance WARNING

Well from roaches to bed bugs, police presence on property and emergency services, this was not the experience the photos showed. I wasnt expecting "the Hilton" experience but i thought quiet and cozy. It was terrifying and triggering. Even my service dog was on edge and hes still a puppy. First thing maintance is coming out of my room. Then he alerts me that after check out is over hed be back to fix my door lock because it wasnt reading the card. It was 8am ck out wasnt till 11. He never came while I was there. Found Bed bugs..room change. New room Roach infested

Unpleasant Hotel

The room light near the door & on the wall did not work/turn on. The room smelt of cigarette smoke. Outside environment w/street people hanging outside. The check-in in staff, unprofessional. Didn't offer choice of pay options, card on file or other option.

Decent Maybe

The stay was fine enough. The room was in horrible shape and smelled bad but there weren't any bugs. The pool was open but unusable as it was full of trash luke leaves, regular trash, used band aids and cigarette butts. The television didn't work. The air conditioner worked, the toilet flushed and the shower worked.

DO NOT STAY HERE

After booking online, I was horrified at the condition of the entire hotel. The outside of the building showed damaged vents, garbage cans overflowing and poor maintenance. The front desk clerk sat behind a plexiglass partition. She was polite and cordial. That was the highlight of my interaction with Ecnolodge North. When I was given my pass keys to the room, the clerk said, "They're should be a microwave and a fridge in your room. If they are not there, let me know and I will have one brought up to you." (Cue Red Flag) Went into the room and when I moved the curtains, they fell down off the hooks. The floors did not look clean at all with the corners of the room having black mold and buildup that looked as if it had been there for months. There were holes in the walls. Microwave was punched in, and I didnt dare open the fridge. Upon entering the bathroom, the tub/shower was not clean, there were black stains in the corners of the bathroom, & rust stains on the walls. I went to call the front desk. When searching for the phone, I found it in the nightstand drawer. Between the phone a and the Bible I found what looked to be human excretions....white... that was it. I marched down to the front desk and stated there was NO WAY I could stay here with my child. Never again, will I trust the reviews from online sites. I WILL RESEARCH the reviews via google away from whatever app I happen to use.

Avoid at all costs

The room was clean. The lobby staff were fine. Those are the the good things. The not so good... The drug dealers hanging out by the stairs to the 2nd level, right by my door. Offered me a choice of products they had for sale. When I refused and opened the door to enter my room, one of them tried to look inside. I quickly closed and locked the door. The room was awful. TV reception was terrible. No iron or ironing board. No hair dryer. Light bulbs missing. No floor mat to step on when getting out of the shower. Cold water from the spigot was warm and tasted bad. Go across the street to the Hampton.

Niece Graduation Trip Ruined

My family and I drove down from Greenville, NC and was staying there for my daughters graduation party weekend. Once my self and my sister and children arrived, the receptionist said that they couldn't find our reservation. After asking more questions, he told us that since we didn't come right at 3pm(we walked in at 4:40pm) that our room was canceled. He also said that they run our cards at 4pm and since no money was taken off the cards that he gave our rooms away. We asked why he didn't call us and let us know, because since we were traveling, our cards were locked and that we had plans to pay in cash. He said it wasn't his job to call and notify. Then said he would callus around 5:45/6p, if he had anyone cancel. Then I asked in 40 mins our rooms were booked and sold. He said no that they had over booked for the weekend and since we were not in the hotel he had given our rooms away. He also stated that we could ride around and look for another hotel. We picked this hotel because it was 7 mins away from the graduation party and explained that to him. He was persistent that he had nothing to offer my sister and myself and that we could ride around and look for a open hotel. Needless to say we had to ride around Charleston for over a hour to look for a hotel for our family. Extremely unprofessional and disheartening. He also never called us.

Ruined Graduation Weekend

Garbage

The room was smoke free but the bed smelled like smoke and there were cigarette burn marks in the sheet. The propery had garbage everywhere. Garbage on the steps including a bloody tissue. Shopping carts with bags of garbage. Bags of garbage and garbage everywhere. The breakfast was disappointing. Juice was like water. Gnats in the bread/muffin case. I have never had to write such a bad review. The employees were nice and helpful.

Not worth it

Overpriced and run down. Very disappointing room condition. Property exterior was filthy, trash and food and debris everywhere. Vagrant knocked on the door repeatedly at 8am.

Nasty pl

It's a very nasty place I didn't even stay the whole day because the room was nasty like crackheads lived in it the front desk guy was rude plus there was some problems with my reservation and my girlfriend had already call ahead and they told us we were fine I try'd to show him the app he wouldn't even look at it this places needs to be shut down it's not a safe place to live or visit DO NOT GO THERE PLEASE LISTEN WHEN I MAKE THIS REVIEW
