Amazing coffee & stay.

Breakfast is simple and good ! But the COFFEE served IS AMAZING ! Coffee is important. It must be tastefully good. Awful coffee can break you. Beds are cozy, restful & plush. Management / Staff are kind & nice. Highly recommended.

Good but Still a Work in Progress

We recently stayed at the Baymont, for 2 nights, to attend graduation at Penn State. It was the only reasonably priced accommodations close enough to the event. While the hotel appears to still be under renovations, our room renovation was complete. Flooring, furniture, linens, bathroom, were all new and clean. Bed was very comfortable and there were lots of pillows. Lots of parking available and free WiFi. Front desk staff was pleasant at check-in and check-out. Look forward to seeing the finished hotel.

Very bad hotel and too expensive

Bathrooms was broken tiles, the shower was not working, and toilet broken. The hotel didn’t have elevator and my room was upstairs, you need to go upstairs with suitcases.

Remote battery went dead within 5 minutes of use…sent message to front desk because I got a text saying if we needed anything to just text and there is no one available at this time is message I get back.

Few Kinks

We had a good stay. Kinda. No elevator to second floor so we switch to a first floor room. no extra pillows available. The drain in the shower didn’t drain. it was a little gross showering in ankle deep shower water. The place seems newly renovated and seems to still be under construction w a restaurant being added. overall the place in ok just a few kinks to work out

Excellent stay.

In for some business at the American Philatelic in Bellefonte. The location was convenient. The staff was excellent ! Super friendly and focused on making the stay easy and smooth. The hotel seems newly renovated and in process of being updated more. Clean and pleasant. Will stay here again when in the area.

It was off the highway, so it was convenient but seemed like a truck stop rather than a family hotel. The room was nice and clean. The breakfast was scant. Waffles but no butter available. No bagels nor muffins. Overall, it was a decent pitstop. The staff was friendly.

Pleasantly surprised. Would stay again!

We were very pleased with our room. It was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, the window coverings actually covered the windows so no light would come in, and there were plenty of outlets. The location was good. The price was excellent. Our check-in was easy and very welcoming.

Outside is skeptical, but inside is nice 🙂

The outside is definitely deceiving. The rooms on the inside are mostly updated. There are some things that could use a refresher, such as the bath tubs. The only thing I'd have to complain about is about when we arrived. It was 2 hrs prior to check in. The front desk clerk said there would be a early check in fee and almost ran my card through. There were 3 cars in the parking lot and one was ours. It was almost a little odd but later lots of people came. It is right next to a truck stop with a pretty amazing diner inside. Very convenient.

Poor hotel.

The moment we stepped into the lobby we questioned the dress of the staff, as the first person we saw was in a sloppy T Shirt. Also we had utilized the quick pre check in service. Took a picture of my license and still had to resubmit ID. Why bother? Upon room entry these are the common things missing from what we would expect from a Wyndham chain hotel: -Bible -Pamphlet with local information such as sites and restaurants -Cups -tray for snacks and cups on the bed -Coffee machine -microwave -ice bucket -Ice machine available for quests -------Why is the room safe mounted at floor level ---------it hurts some people to bend down that far -sloppy paint everywhere - on the drapes, the carpet in the hall in the parking lot -the showerhead leaked sideways onto the floor the toilet paper holder was not mounted properly and kept falling off -no do not disturb sign - the breakfast buffet to be polite was a joke -no juice -no toast or bagel - choice of an apple for fruit This is Not what we expected from a Wyndham Hotel. We were extremely Disappointed. Regards, Ted

Mostly nice & comfortable

Easy check in and check out. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Wish our room had a refrigerator but it didn’t. Couldn’t seem to get hot water in the bathroom just lukewarm!
