Pros: Friendly bilingual staff. Didn’t meet a single person who didn’t speak English. Upgraded our room during check-in without a problem. They told us our room would be ready in about 2 hours and it was ready in about 45 minutes! Someone always helped us with our luggage during check-in and check-out. Plenty of pool/beach chairs. The service was great! Always had someone asking if we needed anything no matter where we were.
Cons: The food was below average. We felt like they were trying too hard to make everything “gourmet”. Portion sizes were incredibly small for the restaurants. The buffet was small and had the same thing every day. If you didn’t get to the buffet right at opening, the food was cold and old. Room service takes about 2 hours to receive and it was always cold with no microwave in the room to even heat it up. The sign to place on the door for no housekeeping was irrelevant. We didn’t need them every single day and yet they would still come and BARGE into the room 3-4 times a day even with the sign on the door. Although the staff was friendly, sometimes they were just a bit too much. If you told someone no, they would keep asking you until you ended up saying yes to something (games, housekeeping, drinks, etc.) The drinks always tasted amazing, but they tasted extremely watered down. For someone who barely drinks, I never felt like there was alcohol in them.
Overall a great experience, just feel like a few things could be addressed.
