I stayed at a beachfront hotel with my daughters for four nights. The location was excellent, and the front desk staff were friendly. However, there were several issues that made our stay uncomfortable. Firstly, the balcony door was difficult to open, and the wind was strong, so we couldn't enjoy the view or fresh air often. Secondly, the soundproofing was terrible. We could hear the sound of the waves and music from nearby cafes all day, even on the 11th floor. The worst part was the faulty fire alarm. Two men came to check the smoke detector, claiming we violated the smoking rules, and we would be charged $350. I called the front desk, and they waived the fee, but it disrupted our schedule. On our last night, the fire alarm went off while we were having dinner. I received a message saying $350 would be charged again, but I did not get a response when I called to resolve the issue. Although the front desk staff offered to reduce the resort and parking fees, I do not recommend this hotel. The faulty fire alarm and poor soundproofing ruined our stay. There are better hotels with great views and friendly staff, and the $50 per day parking fee is steep.
