the heater did't work in our room. fast service was done and we switched rooms. the other room the toilet was not refilling. the hallways were not vacuumed. dirt and paper all over the place

Lack of attention to detail
Quite disappointed by the maintenance/condition of the hotel. It was clear that there was not much attention to detail put into maintaining common areas. Carpets were dirty, fitness center didn’t seem to have been cleaned in a while, and the houskeeping carts were left out in the hall all night. The woman who checked us in seemed very nice, but she didn’t seem to have an understanding of what typical standards are in a hotel. I asked her if the housekeeping carts could be removed from the hall and she responded “is that a local violation?” I responded, “no, but it’s just kind of off putting” Carts were not removed after that. I would not stay here again. It wasn’t bad per se, but if obvious things like that are not attended to, I have concerns about attention to the details that are not visible.

Nice, clean room. Comfortable bed. Check-in went smoothly. Easy access to Interstate 80. Breakfast was slightly disappointing. Ran out of coffee and breakfast sausages well before 9:00am. Other than that, would book here again.

Older than expected, fresh paint doesn't always cover everything. Bathroom door s/be replaced, looked like someone didn't know how to work the lock and shouldered the door open . The room doors locks were slow to accept the magnetic key if at all. Breakfast was acceptable but staff didn't keep up with utensils & plates. Coffee was closer to the front desk so no one knew where to find it in stead of by the other juice machine etc. Other than that staff was friendly.

The keys did not work well, we had to try 5 or 6 times every time. The lady at the front was very nice though. Also, they did not give shampoo for the shower.

I booked a room and put the wrong day, my mistake. I immediately called the hotel, but because it was after three pm, check in time, they wouldn't change it to the following day, the lady told me to call Expedia. I contacted Expedia and spoke with a person who said they couldn't refund the money without permission from the hotel. I told them I didn't want the money I wanted a room for the following day. Expedia said they would send the property an email about it and they would responded within 48 hours. I said I was traveling the next day. The next day I called the hotel and asked if we could work something out. The lady who answered said she wasn't the manager, but if I left my number she would contact the manager and get back to me. I waited about three hours with no word. I called back and explained I would be at the hotel around 4:30. When I showed up I spoke with the lady at the desk, the same one I had talked to on the phone earlier. I requested they let me stay tonight since they were already paid. I asked and was told they were not sold out. The manger and told me no they would not do it, I had ro talk with Expedia. So basically the whole time I got a run around from both sides saying the other had to fix it. I ended up staying at a different place and plan to dispute the charge. Mistakes happen, but refusing to work with your customer to come up with a reasonable solution is poor management.

Did not even stay here. Could not check in; computer system was down. Could not contact manager, maintenance mgr, or sales staff. Waited 45 minutes at the counter waiting to check in. Sign said: we're helping another customer. I think the night manager walked out.

This stay was good for wjat we needed, which was just a place to crash for a few hours on a long road trip with our dog. We arrived around 10pm or so and the person who checked us in was pleasant, and when asked what time breakfast opened, she told me 6am. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The hallways were a bit rundown. The following morning we get up to grab breakfast and hit the road, load up the car and go in to grab breakfast at 6:10 and there was no staff to be seen and another customer had been waiting for a while. The staff came out of the office around 6:15 but with another customer waiting and set up for breakfast we couldn’t wait around to see when breakfast would be ready. That part was certainly disappointing but the stay was otherwise good for what we needed and what we paid.
