There was no shampoo or soap and we had forgotten our. They ran out of coffee and food at breakfast. Room was clean, plenty of towels and most of the staff was friendly. One lady working breakfast was a bit rude.

Disappointed
Arrived at the hotel after 10pm. Was instructed that we had to pay to park in the hotel parking lot ($7/day).The main entrance door was closed and could only get in with a room key. The front desk receptionist saw me standing there and came to open the door. Checked in and received a key to a room on the 1st floor. When we entered the room it has not been cleaned. Towels piled up on floor and bedsheets piled on bed. Went back to the front desk and was given key to 5th floor room. The temp was set on 60 but it was every bit of 75 or 80 in the room. If finally cooled down over night but not much. The beds were not comfortable . They were very noisy beds that Everytime someone turned over during the night, it could be heard by the other occupant. The shower had great water pressure but bathroom was super small. We left before breakfast was set out at 630 but no one was at the front desk when we left in order to provide a paper receipt. The hotel is conveniently located by the St Francis Hospital where we were having a procedure, but having to pay to park and an uncomfortable room was not worth the $160 paid to stay.

The room was clean and large with no problems noted. The staff was friendly and accommodated us with an extra blanket. The breakfast was good and plentiful. For the past three months we have stayed here because of the price and the large room they offer.

There was no advanced notice that parking was an extra fee. The pool was one of our main reasons for selecting this hotel but it was closed, also with no notice. Furniture was uncomfortable and paint was worn off in many areas of the bathroom.

Find a better stay
Upon arrival everything seemed okay until I got to my room and noticed a strange smell. I couldn’t quite put my finger on it but it didn’t smell clean. I inspected the room thoroughly and didn’t seem to find anything that would’ve explained the smell. Fast forward to the next morning. I had woken up went to get dressed and a friend of mine noticed a roach crawling on the night stand on the left side of the bed. When trying to kill it, it ended up crawling onto the bed. I called the front desk to complain she acted unaware of the issue that it’s never happened before which couldn’t be true. I explained to her I wouldn’t be sleeping in the room after knowing there were roaches. I really wanted my money back but that option was never offered. I had to ask to be switched rooms. I was never initially offered anything after my initial complaint. I provided the hotel with picture proof and was switched rooms. I won’t be booking here again. The room was a nice layout but definitely wasn’t the experience I expected.
