Brussels near everything
Comfortable area not the greatest due to a shelter a few block down,in reality we never felt unsafe but excellent location 10 minutes walks to international train station , 15 minutes walk to the center of brussels. Great vibe and good buffet breakfast

6/10 Good

Rather shady neighborhood near the central station. At check-in we were warned that cars are frequently broken into, but the nearest parking garage is 800m away. We had reserved a room with two double beds because we did not want a sleep sofa, but we got a room with a single double bed and a sleep sofa. We asked at the front desk but there was nothing they could do.

Stayed 1 night, didn't have breakfast. Great family room. Square outside hotel room (ground floor with opaque window) frequented by people drinking cans of beer and noise of drunks talking right outside window of our room went on for half an hour from around 11.30pm

Boutique hotel ideal for city break
Really nice hotel. Room was well-equipped and spotlessly clean, very quiet and comfortable. Reception staff were friendly and efficent and breakfast was perfect - nice selection of hot and cold foods which were ideal to start the day. Location was good and only 10 minutes to the main station and close to the city centre.

This is a lovely hotel. Somebody spent a great deal of time and money building it. The rooms are nice. The Breakfast buffet is good. The decor is nice. Unfortunately, this part of Brussels is going through major construction and changes. The Surrounding area is really not that nice and for some maybe dangerous dangerous or feels unsafe. It is a little bit of a walk to get to some of the venues that the city has. We spent three days there, and we liked it despite the above.

What the hell. This place is a rose is the middle of a s)&: storm. The place is fantastic, extremely well done, but what lies outside it truly terrible. Trash outside, homeless by the door, a man urinating on the building and a techno rave from our check in until 11pm. Convenient to the train, but wife was not comfortable outside at all.

Hotel ok, but beware of location
Overall not a bad hotel, but be aware of location of the hotel. Shame as the hotel is pretty, clean and had nice amenities inside. Just wish you could pick it up and move it closer to the center of Brussels. To expand, the immediate surrounding area seems run down and many businesses and shops were closed down, the ‘garden square’ in front of the hotel was filled with overgrown weeds, dead plants and probably hasn’t been maintained for months, if not a year. Also, lots of trash and didn’t feel clean nearby. Very busy street along the hotels side and no easy, or safe feeling, way to walk towards the heart of Brussels. Another concern was the knowledge and friendliness of the staff. Asked the two front desk staff for a local laundry to do a small load. Neither could recommend one and so we had to figure out on our own and ventured even further into what seemed like an unsafe and unfriendly area. Second interaction was that the breakfast staff would not allow us to take food up to our two children who were not feeling well one morning. Just tried to take croissants and jams, but they stopped us and told us they would have to come down to the restaurant. Not a lot to ask, especially when breakfast is included with the stay and when children are unwell.
