Location of the hotel was excellent, and the service in the dining area was very good. The hotel was clean, and the rooms were fresh and well-maintained.
However, the check-out experience was absolutely dreadful due to the behaviour of the woman at the reception. Her attitude was appalling, and she showed zero sense of customer service. She insisted that I pay a city tax at check-out — €51 for 2 people for 3 nights — despite the fact that it had already been paid at check-in. I even showed proof from my bank statement, yet she continued to accuse me of lying and not having paid. Her tone was aggressive and extremely disrespectful towards guests.
After repeatedly accusing me, she eventually confirmed that the tax had indeed been paid. I later saw her treat the next guest with the same rude and unprofessional attitude.
If you stay at this hotel, make sure to keep proof of your city tax payment. The location may be great, but the reception service — particularly from this woman — was shockingly bad and left a lasting negative impression.
