They made our trip to Athens excellent service. The staff was very friendly. The rooms are very clean. Excellent mattress very comfortable. The breakfast was incredible and the restaurant on the sixth floor. The food was great and the views of the Acropolis and sunset was breathtaking. Très bon hôtel sur les hauteurs de Athènes
Situé sur la colline de Lycabette, la chambre nous offrait, depuis le balcon, une magnifique vue sur l'acropole jusqu'au Pirée. La vue est encore plus belle depuis le restaurant au 6ème étage qui permet d'embrasser toute la ville d'Athènes notamment pendant le coucher de soleil tout en dégustant une boisson ou un petit dessert. La taille des chambres est variable mais elles peuvent être communicantes. Pour notre accueil, nous avons pu profiter d'une bouteille de vin ainsi qu'un assortiment de loukoums. Le petit-déjeuner est fordidable dans son choix de produits frais que ce soit pour la partie continentale que pour les fromages frais et fruits. Ayant eu un petit accident au cours du séjour, le staff a permis d'aider, au tout départ, que ce soit en fournissant une béquille ou un fauteuil roulant pour se déplacer dans l'hôtel le temps que l'on puisse s'équiper. Petit point à améliorer, meme si les chambres sont confortables, on peut commencer à voir de petits signes de fatigue. Pour les voyageurs, il est à noter que par sa situation géographique, tant le métro que les bus ne pourrons vous amener au pied de l'hôtel. Vous pouvez profiter du taxi si vous ne voulez pas affronter la montée depuis Syntagma (mais rien d'irrémédiable)

I liked the location and the room was very pleasant, especially the balcony that I paid extra to have. Staff were among the least friendly and helpful in my entire traveling experience. This hotel was in an upscale portion of the city and the arrogance seemed to permeate many staff.

The view makes the hotel and without it you wouldn't tolerate the claim it's a 5 star hotel. The pool area and bar is extremely well done, the staff in the restaurant and the bar were all helpful. We had issues from the start when out in a different room to which we paid for. The manager claimed the eco room with a view of neighbouring apartments, broken furniture and a disabled bathroom was an upgrade to our superior lycabettus view room. Thankfully after two room moves we got what we ordered for. Unfortunately on check out they tried to charge us again for the room and items we hadn't had... Do not trust the automated check out system. The hotel is a 3 star hotel.. The gym is non existent. However we had a lovely time due to the pool area, view and location, all of which are surely some of the best in Athens

Our rooms were not available when we arrived so they sent us up to the restaurant and provided coffee and tea with some backed goods, very nice. The roof pool was nice and the restaurant food was pretty good but not amazing. There is a very nice hike right outside the door taking up to the top of Lycabettus.

Loud music till midnight on Saturday and Sunday night. Service at the bar at the top was non-existent. At Check in had to wait for our room. Noticed others going up to complain and they got a room right away. So, I did the same and got a room. No communication about how long the wait was going to be. Some at the front desk were helpful, some were not and had a poor attitude. We did accidently leave something in our room and the desk was helpful in getting it returned to the states.

We had an excellent visit. Staff, location everything was perfect especially the views!! Highly recommend. Would definitely stay at the St George again.
