It is a very difficult time to live in Cuba right now. There is only limited electricity and Wi-Fi so it is hard for any hosts to provide what customers want and pay for. They did their best but you can really feel the pressure on the people who live here. They have a generator which really improves things and they do their best to offer a good service. The breakfasts are good (big!) and there was a fridge in the room with beer, water etc. The swimming pool was great, although with a lack of electricity it looked quite soupy by the end of our 5 day stay and we didn’t want to swim.

Really enjoyed our stay in Vinales. We loved having the pool for refreshing dips after sightseeing. Joel and the entire staff were helpful and arranged taxis and sightseeing activities. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Excelente decisión, casa nenita fue lo mejor de nuestro viaje ,atencion insuperable ,entre varadero la habana y viñales fue alli donde mejor comimos y donde mejor nos atendieron ,se nota el profecionalismo y las ganas de cubrir todas las necesidades de sus huespedes ,si volviera a viñales me volveria a hospedar alli ,gracias muchachos por todo ,gracias nenita ,fue un placer conocerte .

Chambre correcte mais très bruyante qui donne sur la rue. Passage de moto camion poubelle à trois heure du matin et un groupe électrique à côté de la chambre extrêmement bruyant. Le groupe de la Clim dans la nuit déverse de l eau sur la terrasse extrêmement bruyant. Petit déjeuner très moyen. Emplacement très bien pour visiter les alentours de vinales. Nous avions une voiture de location.environnement de la piscine moyen. Ça ne donne pas envi de se baigner.

Nenita como si hubiese estado en mi propia casa
De como se vive en Cuba Casa nenita es un remanso de paz,otro mundo.Me trataron como si fuesen mis familiares cercanos. Cuando vi a Nenita por primera ves fue como si la conociera de toda la vida,todo el tiempo se mantubo pendiente de las necesidadades de mi familia ,de las escursiones a caballo (magnificas,con el negro un gran guia) de los taxis ,de los antojos de frutas de mis hijas,realmente un lugar para regresar,todo el equipo de la casa ,incluyendo sus hijos ,la cocina y el restauran fueron magnificos .....gracias Nenita.... y si recomiendo mucho este lugar .

Lovely house with great facilities
Lovely house with nice facilities walking distance to main street. Nenita and her family were very helpful to organise a local horse riding excursion and help us organise transporte to our next destination. Food is also excellent, very generous breakfast. Definetly a nice place to stay in Vinales

From the reviews i was really looking forward to staying, however the water pump ran all night long, the cockerels start at about 2.30. The food although tasty is so far over priced and the wine price is unbelievable

Spacieux et confortable
Une grande casa très propre, bien en retrait de l'artère principale donc très calme. Chambre et salle de bain confortables, en face de la piscine. Grande terrasse. L'accueil manque un tout petit peu de cheur et la carte des pizzas nous a fait préférer d'autres adressss pour les repas (Viñales n'en manque pas !). Petit-déjeuner très bien.

Zunächst war nicht bekannt, dass wir 2 Einzel- und nicht ein Doppelzimmer gebucht hatten, erste Diskussion. Der Weg zur Zimmertür war nicht beleuchtet, sodass wir mehrfach über Absätze gestolpert sind. Daraufhin baten wir um Beleuchtung, die dann durch eine Stehlampe organisiert wurde, diese war am Folgetag jedoch verschwunden. Ameisen krabbelten über das Bett. Völlige Verkalkung des Wasserhahns machte eine Benutzung nur mit kaum Wasser, verteilt über die ganze Platte möglich. Die Betten wurden nicht gemacht, das eine Handtuch war so klein, dass es zum duschen ungeeignet war. Das WLAN war zeitweise ohne Funktion. Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis passt nicht.

Amazing stay
Had a wonderful stay here, nenita is truly so attentive and her family /staff as well. Wish we could of stayed more days. She organized our excursion and we didn’t event have to leave her house since she had buffet service.

All in all a Good choice
Casa Nenita is in a quiet location off the Main Street but only three minutes walk into town. There is a good restaurant on site, open from early to late. They have a pool. If it‘s not open ask for it. They will (hopefully 😉) open it for you. The courtyard has ample of shade for those hot afternoons. The staff is very nice and helpful, especially Marisbel (?), Dani and Joel and, of course, Nenita herself. We had two loads of washing that they took care of straight away at a small fee. Joel helped us transport our luggage back to the bus station on his scooter which was greatly appreciated. It helps to speak a bit of Spanish, though. Please note, there is the original building and a new building across the street. If you prefer a more modern design, ask for a room in the new building. They will be happy to accomodate you if they can. All in all a good choice.
