Magical✨
This is my third time at Palmaïa in a year. Every single thing has been perfect every time. The classes, the food, the rooms, the energy at the resort and the entire staff has been absolutely incredible.

Very Nice location, but not a great value
This was my second time here, and the same issues exist. For starters, there are A LOT of children and families. Which is fine, I suppose, but not what you would expect at a place that is a plant-based wellness resort. For me, it ruins the vibe. Second, the price value is not there, in my opinion. The restaurants are good, but not exceptional, and it's hard to justify the cost for restaurants I likely would visit if they were in my hometown. The staff is lovely, and the setting is beautiful. The resort is maintained and clean.

Amazing all-inclusive paradise
We had an amazing stay. Everything was perfect. Beautiful room. Beautiful amenities. Incredible food, including vegan and non-vegan. Great cocktails and mocktails, all included in the price of the stay. We can't wait to come back and will probably bring our kids next time. Special mention to Reyes at Charlie's Vegan Taco Truck and Danny at the beach bar.

So many positives, some negatives. Service not 5*
Writing a lengthy review since we struggled to commit to this property as it appears a little niche. We stayed for 6 nights and enjoyed it for the most part. The condition, cleanliness and style of the property are all excellent. UME was very good and some of the best sushi I've had. Yoga was great, gym facilities limited yet workable but no constant cleaning like other 5* we've stayed. The food was the single best thing and all credit to the kitchen staff for the constantly high level especially since the non-vegans would request many off-menu items or tweaks etc. Bar staff deserve a nod for their attentiveness on the few occasions we were there and the NYE was a credit to all involved, most enjoyable and well ran. On a general view point the service was patchy for this rating and price point... from missing towels, forgotten waters to multiple wrong orders, mainly in the main restaurant. The staff are super nice, friendly & helpful but could do with a few extra staff members and more training as do the middle manager we encountered who had no idea how to escalate and deal with issues when they occur. There are the tiresome sun-bed games, again a surprise for this level of hotel but we just located ourselves in the less attractive areas to avoid silly hogging that many others do.

My new favorite resort
This hotel is everything I dreamed a plant-based all-inclusive could be! The staff was so kind and attentive, the food was beautifully presented and delicious, our spa treatment was magical and walking though the property was like being on a movie set, everything was pristine. Definitely worth the upgrade to the adults-only room. Can't wait to go back

A disappointing experience
Shower with cold water. We figured out the second day that you need to let the water running for 15-20 minutes until you get hot water. They kept replenish only 3 towels for 4 people even when we told them repeatedly it's not enough. The food is subpar and the non vegan options are really poor in selection and quality. The door to the balcony was extremely heavy. It was impossible for my daughter (she's 12) to open it by herself. And it keeps on and on. We paid over $1000 a night for a suite and it was extremely disappointing for us.

Simplemente una locura, lástima que solo pudimos ir tres días, porque esta para quedarse a vivir. La comida un 10, el lugar un sueño, tiene 4 cenotes, tremenda playa, todo es hermoso, nos dieron habitación con vistas al mar por disponibilidad y ufff, mortal. One of the most thoughtfully designed, built and intriguing resorts. Beautiful, stunning and quiet. The food is delicious, and even though we are not vegan do not hesitate to try everything on the menu! The nomadic guides go out of their way to make you feel like you never left home.
