Lovely relaxing stay.
Very comfortable room, with everything we needed. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Room was quiet and warm, also we were able to adjust the heating on and off ourselves.

Oban weekend
Hotel was very clean and tidy and staff were friendly. Rooms were very comfortable. Apart from the bed / mattress. Never slept so bad in all my day, the mattress was so bad it giave me a sore back and sore hip.. so uncomfortable, and ruined the whole experience

It is a lovely hotel in Oban. Its set back slightly but you can walk anywhere in about 5 minutes. The rooms are spacious and beds are very comfortable.

Overnight in Oban
We arrived early and were able to park our car ahead of check in which was great. We booked an economy double which was clean, although a bit shabby in terms of furnishings ( see attached photos). The kingsize bed was comfy but had feather pillows that were dreadful and duvet which was too hot. The tea tray and toiletries were excellent. Our sleep was not good with the room we had (212) being on the 2nd floor at the back of the building experiencing noise for most of the evening and into the night of what sounded like extractor fans. These seemed to go off in the wee small hours and restart early morning, so much so we had departed pripr to 8am due to being wide awake after a restless night.
