Not what expected

Over all I didn’t love this place at all. They don’t bring you enough wash cloths and towels. You have to keep asking and still don’t come. Suppose to have been on the adult only side and there were kids, I guess they over booked themselves. Rooms not cleaned daily. Customer service not as expected for the price point of this hotel. Their staff uses no English and doesn’t even try. Been sick on the toilet for 2 days not sure what’s in the food. Food restaurants doesn’t feel like service you feel like your being a burden on staff. Half my tv was blacked out even after coming to change it out. Bathrooms around resort were disgusting tp say the least!!!! I would recommend this place!!!! Over price and not worth the money!!!

Resort Stay Review – Extremely Disappointed Over the past twenty years, I’ve stayed at more than 30 resorts, so I have a good sense of what to expect. While this resort was scenic and the rooms were visually appealing, several serious issues during my stay ensure that I will never return. 1. Booking Issues & Poor Customer Service I originally booked a stay from June 17 to June 22 directly through the Lopesan website. My wife and I double-checked all the details before finalizing, knowing it was a nonrefundable booking. However, when I received the email confirmation about 10 minutes later, it listed the wrong dates — in October, which would be impossible for us to travel. I immediately attempted to call their customer service but could not get through. The next day, I reached a representative who promised to escalate the issue. Two days later, I was told there would be no refund and that I could only correct the dates if I paid an additional $700, despite clearly inputting the correct information initially. The representative made it sound like the mistake was mine. When I asked to speak with a supervisor, I was conveniently disconnected twice. We ultimately rebooked via Hotels.com so we could still attend a friend’s birthday. I have attached the receipt from Hotels.com showing the correct dates. Frankly, the whole experience with Lopesan’s website and customer service felt deceptive, and I now question the legitimacy of their online booking platform. 2. Cleanliness & M

Estrutura do hotel sensacional, restaurantes de alta qualidade, grande variedade de opções de piscina, parque aquático ótimo para crianças e até mesmo adultos. A limpeza da praia deixou a desejar por ser um período de muito sargaço, o mar da praia estava impraticável.

Pros… beautiful! Room was comfortable. Pools were always clean. Stayed in a swim up. Grounds were well maintained. Spa was nice. Relaxing massage was par, hydrotherapy was just a private pool session with lots of jets for 20 minutes but enjoyable. That was a free perk on the adults only bookings. Cons… staff wasn’t very helpful, did the bare minimum for customer service. The musty smell some reviews mentioned… that’s the sewer system. Drinks were bad. The margaritas were made with lemon juice. Poor bartending skills all around. The food was not great. The “nice” restaurant menus were bizarre. Strange options, like at the Italian place, they listed bruschetta as an appetizer but they used sardines and dried basil. Bro, what? Descriptions of food were poor and hard to understand. A Cesar salad came with imitation crab strips and tomatoes. “Ice cream” was sorbet, not milk based. Very strange, like they were trying too hard to be “fancy”. It wasn’t the worst experience. But it is absolutely not a five star resort. And I would not go back. Advice if you go… get a swim up. Do the adults only side if you can. I saw no kids in that area as some other reviews claimed. Download their app and make dinner reservations asap. Keep a close watch on when restaurants and buffets open and close and plan your eating accordingly. Put your towels out early to mark a spot for pools/beach. Beware peddlers on resort property.
