The service was amazing. The rooms are unique. Original art hanging everywhere.
They even have a record player in the rooms, aling with a library of albums to borrow.
Messler, the restaurant was worth it. From the drinks to the food. The staff was also amazing. The place was hoppin' on a Monday.

Excellent place to stay

Great place to stay and close to UChicago. The staff were extremely friendly, the place was very clean, and our room was awesome. We ate at the restaurant for brunch and had a good meal both times. Quick Uber to/from Midway.

The stay was ruined by the person at the check in post the morning we checked out. Was sleeping on one of the couches( it was 5:15 am) and got visibly annoyed that she had to get up to check us out. Did not greet me or speak and just glared at me during the whole transaction. No Good morning or any sign of good will much less common courtesy and manners. I asked for a print out of my bill and just shoved it at me. Disappointed since everyone else at the hotel was lovely and made us feel welcomed.
