2/10 Poor

This is not a four star hotel by any stretch of the imagination. The room was more like a prison cell. No telephone in room, no tea/coffee etc. The rooms are in a separate building to the main reception with telephones in the corridor that do not work! If you wish to contact reception you can either EMAIL them from your room or WALK. The shower area is approx. 2ft by 2ft and when you draw the shower curtain, you are standing next to the toilet which, is also getting showered. Breakfast choices are poor. Would not recommend this hotel at all. The staff are also very grumpy.

A total rip off and not practical hotel
I paid 140 euros for a room which look like a cheap cabin in a ferry. Small room and minuscule bathroom which could fit in a camper van. I was furious, never happen to me and I stayed in more than 40 hotel nights this year. To be fair after complaining on the tablet located in the room, I was upgraded but if you do not complain, you have a disgraceful room for the price, if you complain, you are upgraded. Does not seem right to me!! Also you are not in the main building but annexes which is not easy to find and not close either so if it is raining heavily like it did, this is not a good start.

Nice hotel in a green landscape
Nice hotel with a lot of green around it, on walking distance from Vught Train station. I booked a single bedroom, which was in Boomgaard. There was free coffee/tea and cookies at all times. The breakfast buffet was great and in the historic part of the hotel. The area is quit and nice for biking which I did on a rental from the hotel. The only minus may be that on weekdays there may be business meetings booked in the meeting rooms, so more people in the building.

The property setting is unparalleled for those looking for a quiet retreat. There are no shops/cafes near so arrive prepared. It took me a couple days to really "feel" the super special atmosphere but it is definitrely worth investing your time. I c ant wait to go back again.

Room was in a separate annex a bit of a walk to the main hotel. Had it been raining it wouldn’t have been good. Interesting decor with carpet on the walls. The restaurant food was excellent but very expensive. Cheapest course and a soft drink was £30 plus. Would have been good to know this in advance. The TV didn’t work either.
