Strange staff behaviour...
The hotel itself was a nice building, and our room was spacious and comfortable, but the service from the staff was strange! When we checked in there was a festival going on in the square, we had had a long travel day and the room directly over looked the square, we asked if there was a quieter room and told there wasn't, the staff also didn't know what time the music would go on until, it eventually stopped just before midnight, not ideal! As we were tired we thought we would have a lie in the following morning, but we were awoken at 8:30am by the hotel reception informing us we only had half an hour until breakfast closed so we needed to go now, we explained we didn't need breakfast and we would like to sleep. About half an hour later the phone went again asking us to leave the room so the housekeeping could be done! We asked them to come back later as we would like to get ready in our own time... half an hour after that, even though the do not disturb sign was on the door, there was a knock on the door from house keeping asking us to leave the room so the room could be made up! After we eventually left the room to go out and sightsee the room was made up, thankfully! This same charade happened again the following morning but this time the room wasn't made up when we left, not a massive problem, but seemed that if the guests weren't working to their time frame this hotel wasn't going to budge! On a separate note the safe didn't work and was too small to fit a laptop.

A highly overpriced hotel, not very comfortable and certainly without many amenities. Staff was polite but not very efficient and the bottle of water had 9 soles ( usual expensive price 2.5 soles). Sheraton In Lima is much cheaper than this hotel and has so much more to offer...

The hotel was very convenient located in the center plaza. The staff was generally professional. However, it was disappointing that face towels were not provided at all, not even by request. I had to use the big hand towel to wash my face. I also wished the rooms were not carpeted, as carpets usually trap germs and dirt.

Bra plassering av selve hotellet, midt i sentrum. Mindre bra var luftkvalitet (spessielt på de innerste rommene som ikke hadde vindu ut, men heller vindu mot en sjakt som luktet kloakk.) Ble derfor tvunget til å ha vindu igjen. Ingen a/c på romemt (som det stod opplistet på hotels.com at det var) men de kunne levere en liten vifte fra resepsjonen. Spessielt dumt å ikke kunne ha skikkelig luftemuligheter da puno allerede ligger på rundt 3800 meter over havet, og mange som er på reis har ikke aklimatisert seg for disse høydene. Frokosten var ok/gjennomsnittlig. De hadde heller ikke kontroll på betaling, og skulle ha oss til å betale noe som ble bestilt på rommet vårt, dagen før vi kom. Men dette ordnet seg. Vi kommer ikke til å bo her igjen.
