Really poor hotel
Problems from arrival. Greeted with “passports!” At the front desk - no “welcome to the hotel”, “how was your journey?” Or “have you stayed with us before?”.
The suite was furnished like a 1980s doctor’s waiting room. The balcony was full of cigarette butts. The “bar” was devoid of character. The walls were paper-thin so you could hear every word spoken in the room next door, and from above. The hotel was very noisy.
On our last night we came back to water pouring in through the ceiling in the bathroom. Maintenance told us they’d fixed it and that they couldn’t move us. The flooding got worse in the night but they still refused to move us. They eventually gave us the key to another room so we could use the toilet and shower.
