I had an excellent stay at Klarinn Hotel, which is in a prime location—walking distance from Prague Castle, Charles Bridge, and the Old Town. The hotel is on a quiet street near the river and a tram stop, providing a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere away from noisy bars or restaurants.
We stayed in a spacious standard double room on the 4th floor with a large bathroom, including a bidet. While the slanted ceiling windows didn’t offer much of a view, the room was comfortable. Some areas, like the bedding and decor, could use a refresh, as the hotel has an older feel. However, this adds to its old-world charm. The reception isn’t staffed 24/7, but the team was friendly and helpful, especially Patrick, who made our stay even better.
There was only lukewarm water on the first night, but it was hot on the other two nights. The towels were clean but well-used, and a couple of extra pillows would have been nice. The room had a small fridge and seating area, which added to its comfort.
While I didn’t try the breakfast, I found the restaurant staff friendly. Overall, it’s a great base for exploring Prague, especially with the amazing deal I got for the stay. My suggestion would be for the hotel to consider reclassifying itself as a 3-star, so guests have realistic expectations and are pleasantly surprised. I’d definitely stay again if I found another great deal!
