THIS HOTEL DOES NOT DESERVE 1 STAR, LET ALONE 4
This hotel, in which I have stayed many times in the past has gone completely downhill. When we arrived (We booked 2 suites for myself and partner and my brother and sister in law. The card/keys we were given did not work on either door, so I had to go back to reception to get a replacement, this also did not work so I had to go back a third time before this problem was sorted out. There was an empty mini bar in both rooms which I reported. Some half hour later the intended contents were brought to both our rooms on trays. The floor in my room was soaking wet and there were just 2 coffee pods available in the on site machine. The television in my Brother in law's room did not work and would not turn on. I again went to reception whereupon the reception person came to his room, took out the batteries and fiddled with them, returning them to the remote, whereupon the television started working. we went out for the day and returned quite late. My brother in law tried to turn on the TV which again did not work, we just gave up asking and he spent the rest of the evening with no television at all. My brother in law tried to use the coffee machine which swallowed the pod and spewed plain water onto the floor. The breakfast was awful, no more sausages, fried eggs, etc., which we enjoyed before, just overcooked inedible fatty bacon and rubbery scrambled eggs, we left hungry. The following day we refused breakfast and went out to eat. This was a ''treat'' for my birthday. DISGUSTING
