Don’t do it!
The hotel was very uncomfortable the tv was not plugged into the wall and the cord was too short to plug it in. The nightstands had cigarette burns in both sides of both of the nightstands. The chair had a rip in it from the back of the to the end of it. The hallways smelled back. And the elevator to go down didn’t work, so you had to walk down the stairs. In all I didn’t stay and I couldn’t get my money back for the room. 10/10 wouldn’t recommend. I guess you get what you pay for!

The hotel is in the process of renovations and the furniture is shabby. The bathrooms don’t have a fan system within them and the floor I was staying on had water in the hallway and stain on the floor. This hotel is not walkable to anything so it’s not friendly for a quick stay. If you just need a bed and don’t care about the condition of the place, then this hotel will work for you.

DO NOT STAY HERE. I knew the hotel was not going to be as up to date as the pictures represented but I was traumatized, and I am not exaggerating, checking in with my daughter late at night without another option. This hotel is rundown, and rooms are frightening. Our room had mold on the bathroom ceiling and around into our bedroom. Beds had just a sheet and some sort of coverlet. Carpet was wet between the beds. We checked in at 12:30am and checked out at 3:30pm the same day when we were able to get to another hotel (a big concert weekend in Miami so was a challenge). DO NOT STAY HERE

The pictures have to be photoshopped
Oh my gosh. This hotel was absolutely horrible, to start the pictures on the website are not accurate, they have been photoshopped, it looks like it should be in a 3rd world country. I slept in nicer places in Russia. It should be condemned. The water in the shower wouldn’t turn off, the carpet looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed in a month and there is mold on the bathroom ceiling. The halls were permeated with pot. It filtered into our room all night and we left with a buzz this morning. I am pretty sure a couple of drug deals happened in the parking lot as we were parking. I hope you were smarter than me and read the reviews before you booked and realized their reviews have been padded and are out of 10 not out of 5. How is that even legal. I would definitely not recommend proceeding with booking this reservation!

YOU WILL REGRET THIS IMMEDIATELY IF YOU STAY HERE
Save your hard earned dollars and please stay elsewhere!! This place needs to be shut down. The most terrible hotel that I have ever stayed in. It smells like mold and there is mold in the bathrooms. Beds are extremely uncomfortable. Elevators do not function properly and fire department was called during my stay. Checkin is done through a plexi like glass and you can tell it’s a dangerous area. I was given one nasty towel and told I would need to wait 2 hours if I wanted to get anymore. All the doors also look like the have been kicked in- in the past (dents and major scratches everywhere). Very noisy and paper thin walls. You will immediately regret staying here once you get off the highway and see the building, it’s a bad bad bad place. Please take my advise. Do not ever stay here.

Hood Rat Hotel
The hotel is filthy! The carpet in the hallway is extremely dirty and the room smelled awful and was not clean. We didn't stay. It was worth forfeiting the money and we found a decent hotel to stay in.
