A good photographer
The building is being renovated i hope. The pictures online were done by a wizard apparently. Bathroom was small and nasty. Bed wasnt attached to anything and slid around on the floor. Room was paint, but it was done cheaply, baseboards were peeling or the paint had already come off. All vent were completely filthy. The only reason i didnt ask for a room change is because we spent so little time in it. Was an old run down motel that is being flipped im assuming. Lobby was nice,but parking was 40 bucks a night. There is street parking next door for half the price....i have pics but the site will not load them.

Mi reservación no la encontraron en sistema y aunque me consiguieron poder hospedarnos a mi y a la familia, nos asignaron habitaciones para menor número de personas, así que hubo familiares que durmieron en sillones , el servicio pésimo en la recepción y nos comentaron que no era culpa de ellos sino de Hoteles.com

Great location
Very nice location. Rooms are clean but there is a certain smell that you will notice not sure if the source is the old building or cleaning materials. Had to leave the windows open for a while until we got used to it. Overall very good price.

HATED THE SHOWER.
I appreciated the price value for our overnight trip. My only complaint is with the shower. The "knob" to operate and turn on the shower was ridiculously hard to use. we could only get hot or hooter water. I had to call the front desk for help and then again just to get it to turn off. The shower ran for at least 30 mins after we called the front desk. the bathroom steamed up and we nervously had to check the tub that was filling up. Overall this hotel is a good value and a great location.

Unfortunately we didn’t have a good stay. I will start by when we checked in we were not informed that the hotel had a coffee shop and a restaurant. The first night we had no heat in the room and the temperature was in the low 30’s. The 2nd day we informed the hotel early in the morning around 6am that there was no heat and they said someone would go fix it. We got back to the room late evening and still no heat and no one had gone to check the heating problem, I called the front desk and informed them again of the heat situation, we waited and had to call again. Finally someone shows up and says they can’t fix it that they will change ur room, no one came to assist us in moving from the 4th floor to the 6th. Finally we make it to the new room 627 around midnight and the heat did work but make this loud noise another sleepless night. Again the next morning we informed the front desk of the noise we also informed them that there was a bottle of Jack Daniel almost empty when we got to room 627. We came back to the room around 1:58pm and still no one came to fix the heating noise again we had to go back to the front desk and ask to have someone to fix the problem. Finally the noise was fixed. We only had 1 night we were able to get some sleep but paid for 3 nights. There were no apologies, no one contacted us to apologize. Room 627 had a broken drawer that didn’t closed and the window shade was also broken. The Gavel restaurant food was horrible.

The Pizza at “The Gavel” the dough was not cooked and was inedible. Looked more like a frozen pizza.
When you picked up the slice of pizza the cheese and pepperoni just fell off the dough since dough was raw.
