PARKING SCAM
The room was nice and a great location. However the parking is a SCAM. This place had NO PARKING. They will sell you a “parking pass” to the lot next door for $20 a night. THEY DONT OWN THIS LOT AND YOUR CAR WILL BE TOWED. It’s a complete SCAM! Street parking is free from 6pm-8am and in mid Oct was available every night.

Meu voo atrasou e quando cheguei no hotel não tinha ninguém para me atender, fiquei na rua por 2h até que um funcionario do bar da mesma propriedade abriu a porta pra mim, mas nao podia fazer o check in. Fiquei mais uma hora na recepção pra me atender, até que uma funcionária da limpeza chegou e me pediu pra ligar pro atendimento, e que não adiantava mandar whatsapp. Me mandaram mensagem com as senhas de acesso ao quarto e à porta do hotel. Não tem elevador, no andar de cima tem um carpete sujo. No quarto o ar condicionado nao tem controle. A cama é confortável, o quarto é limpo. O banheiro tem uma cortina velha, suja, remendada. A água no chuveiro é em pouca quantidade e demora a esquentar. A TV so tem um canal. As instalaçoes são velhas e precisam de reforma. O hotel é perto de supermercado, qur é bom, mas restaurantes ao redor são ruins. O acesso à praia é longe. Não recomendo.

Great location but awful room
Bathroom and closet smell terrible, we requested to clean the room and never did it (we stayed 4 nights!). The windows leak with every rain and the air conditioning won't stop doing a beep (like if you were on a hospital) and auto changing temperature. The door code for the room didn't work, they gave us a key and tell us they will fix it next morning, it didn't happen.

For me it was the close convenience of everything within walking distance. You have the beach, the market, the food options, the shopping corridor. across from the carillon, whose spa services i admire. The room was just what you needed after a day out in the Miami Heat. Check in was easy and communication was clear. Hotel had little coolers you could use and take with you to beach. Just be respectful and considerate enough to clean and return. The restaurant downstairs has great lunch deals and is a great spot to watch folks strolling on Collins. I am glad to say that Norman's is home to me.

It was a pretty good stay! Not bad! I would just recommend having someone at the front desk, fixing the doors (locks), and better beds. Overall, nice stay.

It is a hotel where you can sleep without looking too closely at the details, blinds and broken windows! It was not as it is in the photo, many old and deteriorated details in the room. but he's too tired to sleep and that's it!

I absolutely loveddddd staying here ! It was super convenient. My friends and I didn't have a car when we went so we loved that there’s a supermarket, liquor store and plenty of food choices in the area. Not to mention that the beach is across the street. The only minor complaint I can say is that communication with the staff during the stay was a bit off. We were required to text staff if we needed something and I literally never got a response. But this didn’t bother us as much because we were pleased with absolutely everything else. The room was super cute and spacious, wifi and peaceful. We loved that there was a cute bar/ restaurant right downstairs and they closed pretty late. We will definitely be staying there again!

Although the property itself was good, communication was not. I wanted to pick up my keys 15 minutes early. I messaged Matteo multiple times about this, and got no response. This caused a lot of needless stress!

My room had mold in it. The hotel seemed like it hadn’t been unkept in 25 years. The paint was stripping, the chairs were ripped and old, the shower head was dirty and had a lot of buildup, the toilet seat were old and chipped, the doors were old. The receptionist was never there in the evenings and when I called no one answered. The wifi kept cutting out. Honestly the only good thing was that it’s in a nice area where everything is accessible but the hotel itself needs a lot of work.
