Honest Hotel Review
I stayed at this hotel for one night before a cruise, and while there were positives, the experience didn’t meet my expectations—especially for nearly $400 a night.
Check-In Experience:
We arrived early, and while our room wasn’t ready, staff let us drop off our bags and explore. Shortly after, our room was ready, which we appreciated.
Room Upgrade:
We were upgraded to an ocean view balcony, a nice touch that enhanced the stay.
Room and Cleanliness:
The room fell short in cleanliness. The bathroom had hairs on the toilet seat, dingy grout in the shower, and sticky tile floors. It was uncomfortable and disappointing.
Noise Levels:
The walls were thin, and we heard noise from the hallway and nearby rooms. Heavy doors slammed loudly, and we were placed near someone coming and going frequently, which disrupted our sleep. To make matters worse, housekeeping woke us at 12:40 a.m. asking if we’d requested towels—which we hadn’t.
Amenities and Location:
The pool area and onsite amenities were great. The location was convenient for the cruise port, with plenty to do nearby.
Overall Value:
If cleanliness, soundproofing, and guest comfort were improved, this would be a perfect place to stay. For now, the price doesn’t match the experience.
