Good location

Within walking distance from metro Interdente station and good morning walk of 20 minutes to Hard Rock Cafe (day tour meeting point). We had dinner on the first day but really not enjoyed. Good breakfast though. Bath ropes were provided on the day of check in. As we stayed for seven days, we asked for replacement after two days. But to our disappointment, we were told that it was out of stock .

Beautiful hotel

It was an amazing city and the very accessible. Hotel was situated close enough to visit. They were very accommodating and helpful in guiding tourists. If not for the evening festivities which lasted till midnight, my stay was the best in Lisboa.

El servicio de check in fue muy bueno, personal muy amable. La habitación parecía muy limpia a primera vista pero a la hora de dormir las sabanas tenían un muy fuerte olor a húmedo, lo cual hizo imposible dormir. A las 2 de la mañana decidí ir a la recepción porque no atendieron el teléfono y pedir almohadas nuevas con fundas limpias. No había almohadas con fundas por lo que se me entregaron dos pequeñas almohadas sin fundas. Tuve que poner una toalla sobre las almohadas y aún así el olor ere insoportable.

Outstanding Staff

What really hit myself and our two friends that stayed here after our Seaborne cruise was the staff! Really an accommodating friendly and truly engaging group. Every staff member we engaged with was absolutely helpful. Especially when you consider the language barrier. Being Americans we are not really a multilingual society. Fortunately for us this Lisboa hotels staff is multilingual as are most in the EU. Nice location, enchanting building, great bar and restaurant.

Fantastic hotel

Staff were exceptional. Friendly welcoming, free drinks on arrival, let us check in 2 hour early, one staff member sat down with us and helped us plan out our few days in Lisbon. Room was very nice, clean comfortable and perfect for our few days there. Breakfast was great as well. Extremely impressed and would gladly stay there again and also recommend to anyone visiting Lisbon

1908 Lisboa Hotel was wonderful and I would recommend anyone to stay here if they are visiting Lisbon. The staff was very accommodating and welcoming. On our first day, we were greeted with pastel de nata and cherry liquor with a personalized note; this touch was the perfect way to start our trip.The breakfast each morning was a wonderful way to start our day and the vibe was fantastic in the bar/restaurant. The hotel gave us a sanctuary to rest in between sightseeing and shopping. There were so many restaurants in the square to grab a quick bite or relax with an Aperol Spritz (or 3). We were truly sad to check out and leave the hotel/Lisbon; the hotel was in a great location to get around to different parts of the city. The price point, hospitality, and cleanliness of the hotel made this one of my favorite hotels we have stayed in to date!

We had a wonderful stay at 1908 Lisboa Hotel! First off, this renovated historic building is stunning! When we’d return at the end of the evening to the beautiful building lit up, we felt so fortunate to have discovered such a lovely hotel. Inside, the decor is modern, with large art sculptures on the walls and many comfortable seating options. Our room was well appointed, with a comfortable bed, huge bathroom, and two small balconies overlooking the outside square below. We really appreciated the thoughtful touch of a welcome snack of pastéis de natas, small bottles of Ginjinha, the popular Portuguese sour cherry liqueur, with chocolate cups, and the daily supply of water bottles. The interior wooden window shutters did a great job of blocking out light and outside noise. Daily made-to-order breakfast and an extensive buffet of fresh fruits, meats, cheeses, and pastries at the adjoining Infame restaurant was delicious and a great way to start our day. The hotel’s location was very central and an easy walking distance to many points of interest. The famous tram 28 runs right by the hotel and the Metro was a short walk away. But the true gem of this hotel is the staff! Each and every person we dealt with, especially Diogo at the front desk, were friendly, knowledgeable, gracious and kind. We were provided with such helpful information to get around Lisbon, too. We would definitely stay at 1908 Lisboa Hotel on our next trip to Lisbon!
