The room was actually quite nice -- clean, comfortable, and huge (could fit a family in here and have plenty of room to cook and eat and relax) -- but some other aspects weren't great.
For starters, this is actually part of the Marriott, but you would never know that from their branding or the communications you get in advance, and you'll have a really hard time finding it (as will your cab) unless you know where to go. You have to come through the Marriott parking lot and then go down a street to the back, which is really annoying if your'e coming and going on foot, as you basically have to walk down a dark alleyway with no sidewalk. Also, the location isn't the greatest, as you're kind of a ways from the major attractions in the old city (a very long walk) or else an Uber ride.
Meanwhile, there's not a lot of staff; when I arrived, I had to wait five minutes, as there's apparently only ever one person at the front desk and he was in a meeting. It's also kind of a ghost town in the lobby, as it's small and no one hangs out there. You can head over to the Marriott for restaurants, shopping, and general hanging out space in the lobby -- and the Marriott lobby is the best place to get cabs or have your Uber pick you up as well.
Pro tip: ask one of the staff members to show you the indoor way to get to the Marriott, which is a bit roundabout and hidden, but it will save you a lot of time and hassle once you get it figured out.
