Holiday apartment nightmare
We stayed for 11 days at these apartments from 22 June 2025 - 3 July 2025. The staff in the hotel were lovely, helpful and friendly. The area where the tables and chairs are outside the bar was dirty. The barman was very efficient and friendly. We stayed in a room on the 6th floor - where do l start! The first time l put the air con on l was lying on top of the bed and l was showered with water which gave me a terrible shock. We phoned the office and a lovely lady came very soon afterwards and brought a portable air con machine. It was confined to one small area of the apartment so we were absolutely melting as the temperature averaged around 37 degrees. The leg on one of the beds was bent and ready to collapse which made for a very disturbed sleep for fear of the bed collapsing - it was never fixed although we were promised it would be. There were four blinds on the big windows and two of them were stuck so through the night the whole room was lit up due to the bright lights from outside - hence another reason for being unable to sleep. There was a portable standing fan which didn't work. The double plug socket next to the bed where the water showered down onto me was literally hanging off the wall - a disaster waiting to happen!!! The room wasn't very clean and was in desperate need of decorating and painting. The wiring throughout the apartment was dangerous. Photos attached.
