The staff upgraded our room at our arrival, it was newly renovated without bathtub but shower only, the bath mixer control handle dropped out during bathing, the staff cannot fix the problem and change to an old worn room 3 levels below. The room was hot and noisy air conditioner, they want to change room again but we were tired and it was nearly 1 o’clock then, and not sure the next room will be at good condition, so we request a fan for cooling instead.
Next day breakfast buffet, there was only few items for selection, we asked for milk for coffee and tea, the staffs requested 1 RM for each creamer bag, so we dropped down the cups of coffee and tea in temper without looking back. I suspect the breakfast buffet was out sourced for cost saving.
We surrendered our 2 days breakfast to the hotel.
It was our second stay at the hotel, the facility was behind staffs performance, they tried to please the guest with room grading or all other rooms the same poor service standard.
