The kind owners of the Carriacou Grand View Hotel helped us immensely in organizing easy transportation and wonderful excursions on the island. Our comfort and satisfaction was a priority for them throughout our one-week stay. we could. We never regretted our decision seeing how difficult That was a good decision On different occasions chose not to rent a car and use buses that go all over the island instead.

Set on a hillsview, you capture the beauty of the valley just below and seaview in the distance. This property is very peaceful and quiet. If you're looking for relaxation....that's the ideal spot....and few minutes away from the town with the local cuisine from lots of vendors. I'll be back!

Incredible view of the harbor! Good breakfast! I suggest you text the owners when you will arrive. The ferry can leave late and if you arrive around 8:30 pm then take taxi to place you will arrive around 9:00 pm. If you stop and eat in town it could put you over their 10:00 pm check in period. We got our room but we should have texted them when we got off the ferry.

Grandview is a nice place to stay, they have a wonderful pool, great atmosphere, the owner was nice and was always there to answer any questions I had… I’ll definitely stay there again

Could not used the internet in my room and had to travelled to the first floor where the lobby is located to access to the WiFi. My room was not clean for my entire stay because there was not a spare key for room 3. Could not turned off the A/C due to no remote control. Mrs Shirley is a very nice lady.

Fantastic views, slightly tired but clean hotel.
Fantastic views from big balcony and attractive, clean pool area. We had an apartment with kitchen diner, separate bedroom and bathroom. All clean and adequate if a bit in need of facelift. Good breeze through so no need for ac in March but lack of fly screens could be annoying in summer. Own kitchen reccomended as no food or anything available in the hotel and little evening food in town although the hotel has an attractive dining room and bar they are not in use. The walk into town is easy 10mins down, 15mins up in daylight but I wouldn't recommend at night due to dark and traffic. Check water quality before drinking as it can be cloudy if tank has just been filled..if so request bottled. The hotel could save water by having lower volume shower heads and electricity by use of modern led light bulbs. However I would stay here next time we are in Carriacou ... it is a small Caribbean island so expect quirky.

You will fall in love with this place
It is an amazing family owned hotel with spectacular view on the ocean, so you will be able to rest on a balcony or near the pool and see an amazing sunset. Location is just 10 min walk from the Main Street. The owners create a warm home feeling environment and you will definitely return there next time.

The rooms are very small and the furnitures and appliances needs to be updated. Google map directions were also wrong for this location. Upon arrival the hotel said Expedia didn’t send the booking, which is very unlikely. I suggest if you’re booking online, call ahead as they’re not tech savvy to avoid the embarrassment of being told they’re not expecting you.

Quaint, very clean but dated
The hotel looked great on arrival, however once booked in we noticed how out dated it was. No a/c in our room. The tv was outdated and the picture quality was very poor even with cable. We were told that there is no bus service to the hotel and as the name of the hotel suggests it on a hill! Great for someone very healthy as it is on a hill top. A very steep and hard going hill but the view was great. Breakfast was hit and miss, (although not included) full breakfast consisted of scrambled eggs, tin sausage, a slice of bacon and toast. Nothing mind blowing. The host was very inviting and informative. WiFi was the biggest issue, everybody had problems going from 1bar to nothing for the whole period. We had to leave the hotel walk down a hill to get reception from other areas.this hotel would be go good for young people. Like a short stop over.
