We chose to stay at this hotel because of its convenience to the exhibition grounds. We were there to take in a football game and the Queen City X. It allowed us to walk back after the fair closed at night. The service was great but this hotel could use some upgrades. The mattress in the pull out couch was very comfortable for my son and the a/c unit was so noisy we closed our bedroom door which made our room very warm at night (we had a 1 bedroom suite). The TV in our room didn’t work. We loved having a kitchenette in our room.

We enjoyed the complementary breakfast We enjoyed riding on the water slide in the swimming pool The room was spacious and we converted the couch to a. Third double sized bed. Staff were friendly. Once instance I asked for “sheets for the blanket” they gave me fitted sheets. I found out they don’t know what sheets are which was surprising to me. Bath shower water was very hot. Even the coldest was too hot for us to take shower with. Hotel does not have a private parking. It uses city public parking which is 2 min walk. Make sure to bring cash if you want to use hotel’s public laundry service. Room service does not clean the dishes or do dishwasher in the room. They leave dirty dishes as is.

The property was decent and reasonably comfortable. The king bed was good; however, the pull out couch mattress was not useable by my son, so he just had to sleep on the couch cushions. The kitchen is a nice touch; however, it is designed awkwardly and many of the cabinets smash into one another. Additionally, there isn't enough utensils, bowls etc. The pool and waterslide were fun! The gym definitely need more equipment. One bench just does not cut it nowadays.
