I respectfully disagree with your decision. I purchased insurance specifically to protect my stay, and I would like to understand how I can use it to obtain a refund, as I paid extra for this coverage.
Additionally, no one from the property reached out to me, despite having both my phone number and email address. Someone from the front desk or management should have contacted me before leaving for the day to provide the after-hours check-in process.
Please let me know the steps to file a claim through the insurance I purchased. I genuinely need your assistance, as this is the second or third time I’ve faced issues without any proper resolution or compensation.
If this cannot be resolved, I will have no choice but to escalate this to higher management, share my experience in a public review, and reconsider using Hotels.com for future bookings.
