The room was a good size, by Hong Kong standards, and I had space to unpack my two suitcases. There was more free bottled water than I was able to drink. Perhaps the housekeeping staff thought I needed hydrating.
All the staff members were friendly and helpful.
I was disappointed that the breakfast room was out of service. It's all very well going to a bakery-café for breakfast, but I prefer a buffet breakfast in the hotel. In the event, I decided to take the MTR two stops to Wan Chai and get breakfast at the Délifrance there.
The location is excellent. Although the hotel is mentioned as being in Causeway Bay, the MTR station right across the road from the hotel is Tin Hau. There are also hundreds of double-decker buses stopping next to the hotel, as well as the trams.
The bath was so narrow that it felt as though I was standing on two opposing slopes when in the shower. But this was something that I was able to get used to.
