My experience overall was great. The food, in my opinion, was amazing. The mexican food that was available at the buffet was overall satisfying. While I personally would have preferred more mexican cuisine. I understand the various cuisine options. The reason why I did not give this place a 5 star was due to the lack of transportation from and to the airport. Also, upon arrival, we didn't have change or smaller bills. Therefore, we tipped the baggage porter what we could at that moment. Only to hear him cussing up a storm outside. Very unprofessional. While I was tempted to address this, I figured it was best to enjoy our stay and not let someone that petty ruined our stay. Shout out to Javier, who got promoted from the buffet to the Mexican restaurant. Congratulations, my friend. Also, thank you to the ladies who helped during our arrival.

A very nice property, clean, comfortable and well-managed. All staff members are genuinely nice and helpful. Food and beverages are good and plentiful, I just wish there were more than just one specialty restaurant that was opened while we were there (three nights mid-week). Overall, it was a great all-inclusive stay and an excellent value for the money. We will definitely be back!

Booked Altitude level and are used to a higher level of service for "club" level. We normally go to larger resorts and the level of service is different. Pretty small resort. Only 3 restaurants however the food was very good. We didn't have a bad meal. Room service came quickly and was always warm and good. We had a Junior swimout pool which was clean & private. The Junior suites do not have a (dry) patio. The pool essentially starts 12 inches from the door. It was shallow closer to the door and there were 2 loungers in water, just outside our patio door, then stairs into the deep part of the pool. Although we loved that the swimout was very private, this meant that there was no drink service in the pool for us. The Altitude lounge was pretty basic and had very limited drink choices. No rum. I asked for some but it never came. The door to the lounge was often left open which allowed flys in. For this reason, we never had any of the chartreuse offered as it was uncovered. Although we met an occasional friendly staff member (our cleaners and restaurant servers) most staff generally kept to themselves. The resort was very clean and tidy. Furnishings were newer and in good shape. Towels were older and not as pristine as other resorts but ok. Music from the cental pool was loud (small resort) but ok however the activities person would constantly yell into the mic ALL DAY LONG. This was probably the worst part. Mostly a family resort. Very quiet at night. May return.

Customer service was excellent in all areas. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was as advertised, very clean and comfortable. We were upgraded to an ocean view room and enjoyed the view from the balcony over the resort and the ocean. The pool was busy but very nice and very clean. We unfortunately were not able to use the infinity pool which was a big selling point for this resort, due to the fact that we have two kids (10 and 12) and chose to spend our time with them rather than send them to the kids club. The infinity pool is for adults only, which we did not realize until we arrived. It would have been nice to have maybe one hour a morning (before most adults are up and swimming) for older children to enjoy a swim in that beautiful pool. That said, we also understand why it makes sense to designate one area as adult only, and realized that though we would have enjoyed having a swim in the infinity pool as a family, other guests would have the opposite opinion. The larger pool for families was also very nice and our kids really enjoyed it. The buffet had a really good variety of options, including an omelet bar and a quesadilla bar for breakfast. The dinners were good, we really enjoyed the Mexican and Italian restaurant options but this is a matter of preference of course. We were able to make all 7 of our dinner reservations at the time of check-in. The coffee shop was great and also always provided cold bottles of water when asked. Overall great resort

Honestly this place was amazing we absolutely loved it. But the reason I am doing 4 star is due to the food quality. The buffet was just not the best everything was either cold or the flavor was so off. And their snack bars were also not good. The best restaurant there was the grill on their non Italian night omg that food was good. We would definitely do this again.

Food choices were excellent, stuff was attentive. Gym schedule was well organized, no waiting time for use of equipment. Enough of pools for all ages, bars are good. Effortless check in and check out at a designated room for Expedia members, no wait. Special snack bar with choices of alcohol including gin, whisky, vodka and wines. Very pleasant experience!
