Good location, comfy beds

Second time visiting new orleans. Hotel is really good location wise, less than a minute walk to Bourbon Street but not noisy at all. Room was big enough for two women getting ready every day. We had an issue with house keeping which we tried to get resolved during the stay. In the end we had follow up with management who resolved our issues.

Avoid the street rooms - you won't sleep

The hotel is cute, authentic and well taken care of. The room was comfortable and the shower big, and great jet. However, avoid the rooms facing Conti st. In the 2nd floor these are 231, 232, 234, and 250. You won't sleep!! The noise from the street goes all night. Whether it's people partying, cars that drive right next to you with full blown stereo, or construction that starts really early in the morning. We could not sleep at night. These rooms should be discounted or replace the windows there. It feels like you are literally in the street

Prince Conti Hotel is Lovely

This was our first visit to New Orleans. We were attending the Jazz Fest and were quite excited to stay in the French Quarter. My husband and I did the required research into the area, watched numerous shows on New Orleans, and mapped out our stay and must see places. In one of the documentaries we watched, the host noted that all of New Orleans was haunted. Taking that in stride, we embarked to New Orleans to stay at the Prince Conti Boutique Hotel and enjoy the delights to be offered. The Hotel was quaint, had a lovely door man (he stated he was the original Will Smith), and just as lovely front desk lady. Checking in was a breeze, we reached our quaint room that was clean, with a king sized bed, a refrigerator, and a coffee maker. I could not get the room safe to work, but found that all our belongings were safe where they were. The bathroom was clean with plenty of towels. Our first morning we chose to eat in the delightful breakfast nook in our building. It is an order at the counter with food delivered to your table type of establishment. The food was excellent! There is a club of sorts on the premises, The Bombay Club. We stopped in to hear some music, yet were looking for dinner. The Bombay Club served pub food and we were told that the chef had stepped out. A lovely musical duo were playing and we enjoyed listening. One area that I am a bit reticent to share, but should be noted: there are ghosts.

Comfy quaint boutique hotel in heart of Quarter

Loved this hotel. Great location in the heart of the quarter, lovely old school vibe, spacious and comfortable rooms, great water pressure in the shower, very comfortable beds and pillows.

Sweet stay in the French Quarter!

Prince Conti is an adorable and comfortable hotel in the French Quarter—close to everything, but quiet enough to sleep well at night. I had the option of staying here or at a large chain hotel for a conference. This was absolutely the best choice. The hotel was very clean with lovely decor and super friendly and helpful staff. We also loved Cafe Conti. My tween/teen daughters and I felt totally at home here—highly recommended!

pros and cons at French Quarter hotel

Nicely decorated room in French Quarter hotel which had character. Conveniently located. Water in bathroom sink was only a trickle and it did not get warm. A drinking water station somewhere in the hotel would have been nice.

A great French Quarter hotel!

The Prince Conti Hotel is 1/2 block from Bourbon Street in the French Quarter. It is surrounded by restaurants, bars, and nightspots of all sorts. Even so, it is amazingly quiet inside the hotel. All of the staff, especially Kanny and Ashley, are extremely friendly and professional, and they go out of their way to help you. If you go, make sure you try the Cafe Conti - it was amazing! We would definitely stay there again!

Small, quaint, and beautiful hotel.

This is our first visit to New Orleans, and we wanted to stay in the French Quarter to get the full experience. This hotel does not have everything, but what I love about it is the location, the friendly staff, and the quaint and beautiful interior. For those who like to party, this is only one block from Bourbon Street, but far enough that the surrounding area is pretty quiet at night.
