Melrose gem

We had a very warm informative welcome. The room was at the back which helped it be quieter when the private parties could be loud when they were on in the function room. It looks as if some updating is happening and needs new window frames and closers. The bed was comfy. Hospitality tray was great. In the bar the staff were great. You were served quickly and they kept the bar tidy. They were very friendly. We had bar sharing plate snack which was amazing. We didn’t have breakfast as not breakfast eaters so can’t comment about that. We loved our stay and everything about the hotel.

Convenient for an overnight stay, but there is no AC or electric fans available at reception and it was a hot day/evening. Breakfast for the price is great!!!

Très bien

Un très bon séjour. Le personnel est accueillant, l'emplacement est parfait et très calme. Le lit superposé pour les enfants est parfait. Le petit déjeuner très correct. L'hôtel est vétuste et l'équipement de la salle de bain réduit au minimum mais c'est un très bon deux étoiles.

The room was freezing. No one quite often not on reception. No hairdryer in the room. We're not able to check out. No invoice received and I wanted to pay the account on a different card which was impossible. We liked Melrose but it was a shame our first choice was full.
