Interlaken was a dream fulfilled. This was the best home-based place to access the Bernese Oberland mountains and must-see and do activities. Overall, Interlaken and the entire Bernese Oberland places are magical and a must-visit.

Don't just walk in the main shopping street, go into the old town, across the river. Also a lovely walk along the river, from one end of town to the other.

It is something seems not from this world. Jaw dropping views. Lakes mountains and green ground were amazingly beautiful. I wish I have booked for more days.

Was unaware in March the Harder Klum was closed, bit dissapointing as its a main attraction there.

Interlaken is very busy and touristy. Great to spend a day but I would move on if you are looking for more of a quiet mountain experience.

We walked everywhere which was great. Close to Interlaken West where there was more shopping and nightlife.

Interlaken is a beautiful and friendly place, with more things to do than you can possibly complete in one visit.
"This hotel is definitely a bit... different, i think it is part a retirement center for old people? It did mean it was fully accessible and family friendly, nice big room, lots of facilities (including communal washer and dryer). Breakfast is a bit meh but ok price. Location very convenient near Ost station (great for Lauterbrunnen/Grindelwald/Schinygge Platte) but also within easy walk to center and to other areas with cheaper places to eat"
"We stayed here for 2 nights in the height of August - 3 of us in a family room (2 single beds downstairs and 2 on an upstairs mezzanine). There is no air conditioning but there were 2 fans, which were adequate. The room is very clean and very convenient for walking to the bus stop (which is free with a card from the accommodation) and only 10 mins walk from the railway station. Not a cheap place to stay - but nowhere is in Interlaken. Breakfast costs 25 Swiss Francs per person (which we did not try). Beds were very comfortable. Internet access was good (and free). Staff were very helpful, lending us an electric adaptor as our normal European one didnt match Swiss sockets. It would be good if a kettle was provided in the room. Overall we'd recommend this place to stay. "
