We recommend the historic Union Hotel for a family-style Italian meal, and breakfast at Howard's across the street from the Lodge. Be sure to take a drive to the "Grove of Old Trees" for a short hike amongst the majestic redwoods!

Occidental was a nice small town however all restaurants are closed Minoans tuedays. Luckily we were able to pick up some sandwiches at the market right before they closed
