The rooms are large and modern, with a balcony looking out on the jungle. There's a beautiful swimming pool surrounded by comfy lounge furniture. The bartender is usually at the outdoor bar next to the pool.
With only about a dozen rooms, guests at the Selvaje can count on personalized service. I left a scarf on a lounge chair at the pool. I didn't know it was missing until the server brought it to me at breakfast.
The restaurant is excellent. They offer a small selection of food, but each thing we ordered was delicious, especially the locally-caught fish.This is fortunate because it's inconvenient to go anywhere else. The hotel is tucked pretty far into the jungle, so you have to take a cab to get to Iguazu, the town, or other restaurants.
All the staff are friendly and helpful. But only some of the staff are fluent in English, others are not. We learned to double- and triple-check our communication to make sure
