Beautiful resort with swimming pool facing the sea. Quiet, peaceful but still close to General Luna. Rooms are all suites. Spacious, cool AC and clean. Manager Cecil looked after us very well, arranging tours and transport in a personal way.

Unfortunately, this will be my first and last stay with this resort. Stayed 3 nights, first time in Siargao. Was surprised with complimentary 10-course Korean food dinner on my first night. That was very nice. My room was ok. Bathroom needs to be upgraded. I was on the first floor which was a mistake, few insects and tiny ants, I think. Pool was nice and warm. But the beach is really not a beach. Didn't look safe to swim in it. Resort is quite far from the main area, General Luna, where the stores, shops and restaurants. Staff were all nice and accommodating.

First, I give it that the staff are friendly and accomodating. But everything is overpriced according to the quality. Bathroom is not that well-cleaned. Surrounding beach is full of seaweeds and unkept.

8 nights stay at Retreat Siargao
We had an enjoyable experience here. The staff and owner were very friendly and professional. It is an excellent location, good view of the ocean from the suites windows and balcony/patios. The ocean is nice to swim in here. The pool is refreshing, clean, not much chemicals (if any). The suites are clean, large, comfortable, well appointed and well maintained. In the suite is a large fridge, real ground (not instant) coffee & coffee maker, full size water cooler/dispenser, smart TV (with Netflix or whatever else), strong wifi, great air con (x2), comfy beds and linens. The food in the restaurant (including breakfast each morning) was delicious, with large portions at a great price. The Korean food is so good, but also the international and Filipino offerings. The staff constantly gave us complementary dishes and side dishes; they made us feel like VIP guests every day. We will stay here again, as it is perhaps the Most well rounded, nicest place we have stayed in the Philippines. This place is better than most 5 star resorts, as they really care about the guests and do not nickel and dime guests.

We loved our stay at Retreat Siargao. Everyone was so welcoming from the moment we arrived to the moment we sadly had to depart. We left fully relaxed and revived. The pool is so welcoming and there are plenty of areas to settle in and enjoy the views around the property. Retreat Siargao will always be on our list of great places to stay when we are back in Siargao.

Schöne und abseits gelegene Anlage
Das Hotel liegt etwa 4-5 km außerhalb von General Luna und ist sehr ruhig. Man kann perfekt am Pool entspannen, braucht aber für alles andere ein Tuktuk. Das Essen ist eher hochpreisig, aber qualitativ gut. Der Pool ist sehr schön, aber nicht für kleine Kinder geeignet. Die Zimmer sind sehr groß mit einem Wohnbereich inklusive Sofa und TV mit Netflix.

We had a wonderful stay at Retreat Siargao! The room was spotless, spacious, and offered stunning views. The staff truly impressed us with their attentiveness and willingness to go above and beyond. The location was great. 125 steps to the private beach that was great to wade/swim. The complimentary breakfast was nice, certainly not gourmet...but plentiful and Filipino, with Western options. The staff could not have been nicer. Always friendly and caring. The owners dinner was delightful and delicious. The resort is convenient to General Luna with lots of nightlife and interesting options. Too far to walk, but a tricycle is only a few minutes call away and there was never a wail. The facility is certainly not luxury, but spacious, clean and comfortable. The pool is lovely and the grounds are very, very pleasant. We had a great time here...it's peaceful, happy and comfortable...
