I would have given 5 stars but unfortunately i experienced a couple major issues. We had got to the hotel to drop off our suitcases befit checkin time. They asked us to return for 1pm which we duly did. Upon arriving they said the previous guest had not checked out and they can upgrade us, which at the time we thought great except they wanted us to pay for the room upgrade. Why should a customer pay for a room upgrade when it's not their fault.
The biggest issue was when it can go getting a good night sleep after a long flight. At approx 10:00 the staff started to wash the dining chairs outside with a vacuum that was loud. I called reception and asked them to stop which they said they would get done, unfortunately it never and at 11:30 as we were unable to sleep because of the noise I went to the reception to ask them to put a stop. The chap on reception said 'consider it done' but there was no change at it eventually stopped after 2:00am in the morning. The key reason to book a hotel is to get a good night sleep which was not the case here.
It's a shame as the overall service and staff were very good and polite, and due to a few minor people they let the whole team down.
