Clean and Great Location

Nice clean hotel in a great central location. Room was clean, bathroom was much nicer than comparable hotels I have stayed in.

Basic

Good location but insanely complicated check-in and door access. Room and bathroom facilities pared down to the absolute minimum and run down, but just about usable.

The property is conveniently next to the access for the underground. The staff also were very welcoming
Cassandra, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

The location is ok but the hotel offers no amenities or services. The shower's water was cold in the morning and we run out of toilet paper and it was not replaced. No air conditioning in the rooms and the rooms open on a backyard space with noisy plant rooms from commercial shops. No concierge and quite difficult for interacting if guests don't speak English.

When checking in getting to our room was like navigating a building site. Tools outside our door.
Catherine, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Nice to be so close to the underground, quite the tiny room that doesn’t even really fit an open suitcase without blocking a major path in the room
Siril, 3-night trip

6/10 Good

It’s a budget option that’s a little better than a hostel but not well maintained

No towels?!

Unmanned property. Check in was straightforward, but upon entering my room I discovered no towels. Difficult to address that when the property is unmanned. Never worth the £150 I paid in a million years.

Fantastic location! The gentleman at the desk downstairs is very kind and efficient. Few issues I had with my room, He immediately saw to that they were taking care of. Shared bathrooms are kept very clean. No-frills accommodation my room-definitely could use updating. Carpet looked very used and worn. I had bought slippers so that was fine. The layout was a bit awkward. The mirror was placed on the opposite side of the room from the only plug so it was a bit challenging to try and do your hair lol. All in all, for the price, this was ideal for the three days I needed a place to call homebase! The area itself for being busy was quiet at night. I was able to sleep with the window open with minimal disruption from traffic. Traveling alone I felt safe coming and going. The tube station is right next-door and you can catch any bus going either way easily. If needed, I would stay here again.

The biggest problem is the front desk only opens during day time and there is no way to leave my luggage for storage when I check out.

In need of sprucing up and a deep clean

Rooms are shabby, shower plug hole was blocked / manky. No tv remote. No air-con, just a noisy fan. Not going back.

8/10 Very good

It was a good stay overall. The place was clean. The room was a bit small but big enough to be ok for a few days. The bathroom was nice and the shower pressure was excellent. It is right next to a subway station so that is a big plus. The thing we didn’t like is that on the last day of our stay, we were using the common workspace and the receptionist told us that we couldn't use it since it wasn't meant for the clients staying, only for workers. Not sure what workers she meant, but we left. So, I guess there is some false advertising about this place because on their booking page it says we are able to do so. I'm not really sure why it says we can use it if we can't really. I bet that a lot of people book this place with the idea of working from there. So if that's what you have in mind, then book somewhere else. Other than that, it is a pretty good deal in the center of London

Bad bits: the floor boards!!!! If your lucky enough for your neighbours to not walk around in their rooms your ok. Mine came back at 3am upstairs and it sounded like they were in my room. I could also hear everything from next door. I was in room 105. Marks up the walls and the carpet especially by the sink (I believe was blood marks). As a single female I did not feel safe after 8pm when the reception closed. 4am the pub next door had its bottle bank emptied - bring ear plugs! I kept my curtains closed even in the day as the window backed out onto more rooms. The main light did not work so just had the bedside lamp and the plug in heater did not work - and we were due snow the night I stayed so used my coat over the duvet to keep warm. Good points: the lady on the desk was helpful in the evening to connect to the WiFi but in the morning she didn’t ask how my stay was or barely said goodbye. The bed was comfortable and a hairdryer was provided which was useful. There is also free tea and coffee but no cafe as stated on the website as far as I could find.

Great location by Borough tube station . But Digital only check in and room access despite staff being available No soap in dispenser in room Shower entrance incredibly narrow . Weird . I’m not particularly large and I couldn’t get in so had to leave unshowered! Avoid
