Chocolate aroma everywhere!

The website listed a room on the canal, but when we got there it stated outside the front door that we would be staying at the annex. Not sure if this is because we booked through hotels.com or they were full at the main boutique hotel. We found the annex and there was free parking right outside! Very nice! Our room was up two straight staircases (nice after winding staircases in other hotels) it led us to an open shared balcony that had 4 doors - one for each room. The room was clean and very comfortable! Slight dust, but otherwise perfect! Close to all the things we wanted to do AND the whole village smells like chocolate!! It’s how I hope heaven smells like. The staff was helpful when we needed them. Everyone in town was very friendly!

Je déconseille, c'est un hôtel avec arrivée autonome, paiement en ligne et hôtel divisé sur toute la rue donc 1h pour accéder a notre chambre, chambre qui se situe dans un autre bâtiment, très mal insonorisé, qui ne ressemble pas aux photos ! Un couple qui est arrivé à 20h n'a même pas pu accéder à sa chambre car personne ne lui a répondu au téléphone, malgré avoir essaye de les aider, impossible de contacter l'hôtel, pour qu'il déverrouille la porte à distance afin qu'il puisse avoir accès bref je déconseille !!! car personne n'est la pour vous aider...

The check-in arrangement is terrible. The hotel owns several buildings, but all these buildings are separated and scattered. There is no information at all about which building my room belongs to. The customer service's attitude is not nice. The staff over the phone keeps asking what the problem I am facing, and giving me the wrong address. Luckily, the taxi driver who knows Dutch is willing to clarify for me, especially since I only have data but no local phone number. To be honest, the hardware within the room is just up to standard, but the check-in experience definitely makes me not recommend it to anyone. Smart check-in is a good idea given that all the staff and the check-in procedure are smart enough as well.

It was a good stay. The check in process was a bit difficult as we had no way to call when we ran into an issue. Luckily one of the restaurant workers attached to the hotel helped us out. Our digital key didn’t come until after 4 pm when it was supposed to be guaranteed by 3pm. The room was down the street from the main hotel which was a bit odd and was not clearly communicated during booking.

This little hotel is like a self service hotel. There is no front desk or any person anywhere. There are no restaurants to get anything after around 8 pm. We were lucky to grab some food from the little grocery across the street as they were shutting down. Bakery not open in the morning. There’s no need to stay in the area- nothing to do. On the other hand, bathroom was clean, well supplied. Easy to catch the train to Amsterdam nearby and free parking in the lot across the street.

일단 풍차마을 입구에 있어서, 풍차마을은 매일 보러갈수 있다는 장점이 있습니다. 그거 말고는 딱히 장점이 있지는 않는거 같습니다. 리셉션이 없는 호텔이라 매번 전화하는것도 답답했고, 주변에 레스토랑들이 다 너무 빨리 닫아서… 저녁 늦게 뭘 할수 있는게 없었습니다.
