Delightful old house by the river
Beautiful old property by the river,lots of character and great owners. Breakfast was mostly homemade and served in a pleasant garden room complete with numerous artworks. Free parking opposite the property.

Very good value. Nice homely small boutique hotel. Very traditional but attractive decor. Lovely dining area for breakfast with homemade yogurt jam and cookies. A welcome break from the usual corporate offering.

À notre arrivée nous avons été reçu par le monsieur qui est très désagréable c'est vrai que je me suis trompé dans l'horaire d'arrivée je m'en suis excusé il m'a dit comme vous êtes là maintenant j'ai pas le choix nous lui avons expliqué que nous voyageons beaucoup et qu'il y arrive dans certains endroits nous pouvons arriver fin de matinée il nous a dit que c'était pas possible que nous sommes des menteurs par contre son épouse très agréable je n'y retournerai certainement pas

Stayed for one night before returning to UK - forget cheap chain hotels on industrial estates, this is the hotel to stay in if you're passing through St-Omer. Run by a lovely French couple, it's very clean the town centre is walkable for an evening meal and a lovely breakfast is included. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.

This is the second time we have stayed and we found it just as good as the first time, a month ago. A lovely large room overlooking the canal, very clean, the only drawback being the small , steep set of stairs to the bathroom - a bit perilous in the middle of the night! Also, as I was finishing my shower in the morning the hot water suddenly ran out. The breakfast was wonderful - fresh bread, croissants, home made yoghurt, home made jam, and a homemade custard pie!

The property was quirky in a nice way, great high cieings and old-fashioned furniture. The room was quite large and the traffic noise was not obtrusive. Parking was easy and free. The only slight drawback was that the bathroom was outside the room down a little steep flight of steps, and the bathroom door was through unlockable doors from the main staircase. Still, it didn't bother us. Breakfast was really nice with homemade yoghurt and jam. Would love to go back!

Lovely Place … Will Stay Again
Beautiful old house with lovely French charm. Large bedroom. Fridge, kettle and microwave in room were very handy. Host very friendly and inviting. Lovely breakfast with homemade yoghurt and jams. Would stay again without hesitation.

Exceptionally welcoming and friendly host, and very pleasant stay in property with distinctive French character. Breakfast with lost of home made niceties! Excellent, when I am in the area again I shall choose this one again.
