This is a charming apartment in a historic village. The photo of the view does it justice, it is spectacular. The apartment has everything we needed for a weeklong stay.
Marco and the property management could not have been more hospitable and available to help. It’s quiet at night with a comfortable bed. Great to have a washer. While the furnishings harkened to the 1970’s, the heating, elevator, and washer are new and top notch. Some excellent restaurants within steps.
This is not the place for you if you expect the amenities of an American, corporate style hotel. Stay in Milan and take a day tour. But if you want to be at the center of the spectacular Cinque Terra, you can’t do better.
Only one minus: the huge number of day trippers coming in from cruise ships and bus tours is overwhelming the town and trails from 11 am - 5 pm. But the mornings and evenings here, when the crowds are gone, are pure delight.
