The ladies are so personable. They helped us with our luggage because the suite was upstairs. The room was fantastic. There is a game table and we really enjoyed that.
What a great value. I loved visiting with them and the guests.

Beautiful aesthetic, wonderful breakfasts - including an option of Mimosas and Bloody Marys along with your morning coffee. The staff was amazing and we enjoyed the views of the lake and the gorgeous fall leaves every morning while eating breakfast. Skaneateles is hands-down the best town in the Finger Lakes with beautiful shops and great restaurant options and this was a nice setting just outside of the downtown area.

Beautiful, clean and wonderful attention to detail. The staff was able to make a last minute change for a room on the first floor. The fireplace was wonderful and fire ready to light on a very cold night.

Lots of problems with the TV. Couldn’t get Olympics. Host fixed but sound was horrible. Resorted to captions. Room and breakfast lovely. Had to drive to town to swim but lake is pristine. Love the town and will be back.

Wow! Cozy modern farmhouse charm
This place was amazing. A quick drive into town, free on site parking, lake views from the front porch, and the coziest common area. Our room was on the second floor and the steps were quite steep. No issue for us but, as the site warns, wouldn’t be good for those with mobility issues or if bringing lots of luggage, etc. We stayed during a time of year when breakfast is typically suspended but we still had delicious pastries and fresh coffee waiting for us in the morning. Can’t recommend enough!

The property is beautiful, with both outdoor and indoor seating areas. Corey (owner) and Katie are wonderful hostesses. The room we had is small but comfortable and well equipped. It's an old place with sloping floors and low ceilings, but updated with a great combination of old and new. The only suggestion I would have is that if you have mobility issues, go for one of the ground floor rooms. The stairs to the upstairs rooms are very steep and narrow - which add to the charm, but would be a concern for some.

The property was on a busy road. There was no immediate area to walk. It was about a 4 mile drive to the lovely downtown.
There was no one at the Inn to greet us. That was fine. Instructions were left as to entry.
Our Suite was roomy and clean.
More light/ lamps were needed and at first we had trouble figuring out heating unit but eventually we did.
The bathroom was large but we did not appreciate the open design. There was no door for privacy - which made the toilet area particularly awkward.
The handle in the shower was described as “quirky” but clearly it was in need of repair.
The morning staff was lovely but breakfast was just ok. A small menu choice and no fruit , muffins or yogurt was ever an offering. That was a little disappointing.
As for value, the Bond was overpriced for what it offered.
For thursday and friday night it cost a total of $772.
Skaneateles is a lovely place to visit. Next time I think we will try the Sherwood Inn in town. It is less expensive , with great food and a convenient location.

Don’t let the location fool you. It looks to be outside of Skaneateles and technically that is true, but it is 5 minute drive next to the lake with beautiful homes, etc. The building itself is beautiful, old but with a lovely aesthetic. It feels homey, but one that an interior designer designed. From board games to an ice machine at the ready while in front of the fire…it was delightful. As was sitting on front porch with my coffee in a rocking chair. We will definitely return. Staff was lovely as well!
