Rude staff.
We’ll be trying the *NEW* Bob W Tower Studios next time.
We have stayed here a few times and really enjoyed it. On this occasion we had a few issues.
One staff member was quite rude and enjoyed giving problems instead of solutions.
There was an issue with the shower, it kept dripping, the lady on reception took delight in saying we should have reported it in the morning and that we’re leaving tomorrow so what’s the issue. I found her response rude. Her college also seemed shocked by her response.
We also asked for the room to be made up, it was my Fiancés birthday that day. Again the same lady took great delight in saying cleaning/ make up of the room is every 3 days.
Due to the shower issues, we were delayed at checkout, the shower was dripping for an hour so we couldn’t shower as quickly. We had the cleaner knock on the door at 9:50 am (check out is at 10am), the maintenance man at 10:00 then the cleaner came back at 10:15 am, with her broken English she came back with the maintenance man at 10:20am and I explained we were delayed due to the shower and we will be another 30 minutes. Reception then called us at 10:30 am saying check out was at 10am
We checked out at 10:40am. There were no apologies for the issues we’d had and no recognition that we had just been harassed for the last 50 minutes to leave due to an issues by no fault of our own.
