The property is in transition to vacation rentals. It does not really operate well as a motel. The room was not very clean, the heat was a problem. For a one or two night stay in Cooper Landing, it is OK at best.

Only use for emergency stay

While the host/manager was attentive to our needs, the unit is in need of TLC. Leaky rusted bathroom, dirty worn out chairs; rollaway bed = thin mattress on the floor that only fits in dirty niche in bedroom. Stove is old with only one burner working and soiled foil around dangling burners.

Although the property owners were kind and regretful of the room and property conditions, there was not a way to improve the situation. The property owners tried to make it right by offering to change the linens, clean the room, etc, but we ended up not staying and driving on to Anchorage to find other accommodations and get some rest before our flight. No refund offered.

This property was fine for a one night stay while driving through. Nothing to write home about.

The price was cheaper than most places and we were willing to not have a perfect stay. Our biggest issue was not even a full roll of TP and had to ask 3 other rooms for an extra roll. Everyone had only a single roll. The last guys gave us what they had since they carry their own. I had to ask for clean sheets after they moved us the second night. This place could be so much better. We are not even picky.
