I booked a deluxe city view room check in on 12.8.2017. The hotel declined to provide the booked room with the reason “air conditioner broke out”. The receptionist suggested us change to a no window cell, 5US$ would refund if I accept the offer. I checked the new offer and found the room was so tiny with a suffocated feeling as it was four walls and small. I turn down the offer and requested more option. However, no room option provided, the hotel just gave me another offer—a free taxi to the airport. It was turn down again. As our request of another room was neglected after nearly an hour dialog, we decided to withdraw the booking and inform the receptionist for refund of payment. Then, she raised new suggestions to us : A room with a tiny sky view window, plus VN $100,000 cash return, and a free taxi to airport. In response to their sincere and courtesy offer, also being tired by the long time dialog, we accepted the offer from the hotel.
The acceptance of their offer let me experience more poor services from the Hotel:
1. Bed sheet seemed unwashed;
2. Shower tub sewage was blocked. Dirty water raised to my ankle if I kept on shower;
3. Restaurant was small, run by two unprofessional women. They keep on set up when breakfast time started. Food provision was limited in both quantity and variety.
Lastly, I have to say the hotel had did a good job—arranged a free taxi to take us to airport in time, thanks a lot!
