Ok basic budget option
It was a fine budget place to crash. Very basic, and that’s fine by me. The shower worked poorly and bath did not at all. Good location on a beach with a dock, though my ‘sea view’ room was not really a clear view of the sea. Manager was friendly and helpful. A bit farther than most accommodations from the mix of things Ave not the kind of place you’d hang out at all day (though safe)

Ok for et kort opphold. Stort uteområde med egen brygge hvor en kan slappe av og ta seg et bad. Fasilitetene er gamle og kunne trengt litt vedlikehold. Relativt stille og rolig område av øyen

We LOVE Anchorage beach resort.
We had an amazing stay at Anchorage Beach Resort - we kept adding on an extra night (for a total of 3 nights) because we loved it so much! This is a hidden treasure in Caye Caulker. Great beach and water access. Balcony with beautiful views. The sunrises were amazing! Easy walk to restaurants in town.

I love staying at Anchorage
I love staying at Anchorage. Delroy the manager and his crew are so helpful. This is an affordable choice when you are in CC. Rent a bike from them! it's the best way to get around.

Love love love Anchorage!
We love staying at Anchorage. It is quiet and the view is excellent. It is a short 3 min bike ride to the inner village, shops, and restaurants. The host Delroy and his family are friendly and helpful.

The staff, manager was great and helpful. The property needs a lot of work. Rooms were subpar at best. Stained sheets, rooms had an order to it, the bathroom had a very strong odor to it and there was no water pressure with the shower.

We came to Caye Caulker for a day excursion off a Carnival cruise 1/23. Fell in love & came back for 3 weeks 1/24 after retiring 8/23. We chose Anchorage Beach resort for the price with great amenities. Hotel room on the beach, balcony overlooking the water, bicycles, kayaks, large pavilion with a grill, hammocks, & picnic tables, & coffee ready at 8am plus a dock with shade & sun. We loved sitting on the dock with coffee watching the pelicans & diving cormorants But what sets this property apart is the people. Delroy is the property manager. Questions, problems, recommendations, he's got the solutions! His recommendations on restaurants was spot on! Then Ricky, Delroy's right hand man, takes care of the grounds especially the beautiful flowers. Also maintenance on the bikes Ricky just helped with any issue we had. We hadn't rode a bicycle in 40 years but gave ourselves a quick refresher course as that's the best way to get around the small island. Plus housekeepers Kir & Janet, kept our room in excellent shape. It's extremely difficult not tracking in sand daily. They kept it under control. After just a few nights we knew everyone by name & they called out to us by name every morning. Personal service is what sets this property apart from the many choices on the island. We're not only coming back January 2025 for 3/4 weeks but bringing 3 couples for a week apiece. GO SLOW

Great Stay
I've visited CC many times and this was our first stay at Anchorage. We were really happy with our stay. The manager and his crew are friendly and helpful. I loved how quiet it was. As CC has grown over the years it has become much busier. Anchorage is not far from the center but it's quiet and peaceful.

Everything was great except the WiFi. I work online and depend upon WiFi for this and was unable to connect to various meetings. The WiFi was basically non functional even for small things.. this really impacted my overall experience. However, I did enjoy everything else about my stay.

Anchorage Beach Resort is not by far the nicest place to stay in Caye Caulker. There is no pool, amenities or such and the rooms are very basic. However, Delroy was very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay including calling for taxi services. It does sit on a lovely beachfront with a dock that allows for access to swimming if you choose. It is only a few minutes walk to the restaurants and shops and about 10-15 minutes walk to The Split and Sip N Dip (the north end if the island).
