Loved sitting in our private spa watching kangaroos metres away. We enjoyed riding around the huge Moama on the Murray property on our complimentary bikes and pedal carts. The yurt was stunnjng and the perfect couple retreat. We took full advantage of the free shuttles to the clubs for dinner. Ants found our left over complimentary cheese and chocolate, so if bringing food be sure to wash up and use the fridge provided.

Loved the serenity in the talo hut. Will come back soon. The lounge chairs in the hut had a few stains on them but everything else was pretty clean.

Love a bit of luxury in a tent...this has it all!
We stayed here over the heatwave in 40+ degrees heat and were really worried about how the tent would cope. The aircon managed to push through and being able to soak in a cool spa was awesome. This tent is just gorgeous with great supplies and amenities. I will definitely book here again in a cooler season, to enjoy the surroundings properly. If not for the heatwave, our stay would have been perfect.

We loved staying in our yurt. It was peaceful and away from the rest of the site. It was unique and different. The bed was super comfy. And it was awesome having the kangaroos coming up the yurt. Apart from never revdiving a plug for our spa bath (which was one of the reasons why we staying here), the staff were really friendly. Would recommend staying here!

Not as private as we'd expected. Airconditioning created more heat than it removed. Was still a neat couple of nights. Alot of little bits and pieces that just could do with a tidy up.

Couples weekend on the Murray
Yurt accommodation was very cute Outside bathroom in a converted water tank meant a few nudieruns😀 Outside spa was enjoyable - good privacy from all the other yurts Good mini golf course Lots to do in the Echuca Moama area We had a great time

Talo Retreat is just so lovely. The tent was beautiful and cosy, the staff have clearly considered everything a guest might need, little things like the headlamp and extra blankets and bag trolleys. Plus it truly is a retreat, away from roads or noise. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Very nice and comfy rooms. Quiet and away from others. It is somewhere you can relax and get away from things. Resort facilities are only a short walk away if you would like to do something.

A great escape!
4 wonderful days relaxing in our yurt at Talo Retreat! What a fabulous location amongst the gum trees with the Murray River a short walk away. The wildlife was plentiful with birds n kangaroos. The kookaburras had the heartiest laughs we have ever heard. Waking up to the morning whistle of a paddle steamer to enjoying a leisurely breakfast on your private balcony, everything about this retreat is amazing. Loved the private spa on the balcony! All facilities were just what you need for a quiet weekend away, wine glasses, cooking utensils, BBQ, fridge, kettle, etc all provided. Big fluffy white towels, extras provided too.

Peaceful bush hideout
Glamping in the Australian bush is a unique experience. Talo Retreat was a great way to spend a weekend and we had everything we needed for a relaxing stay.
